@czace it's more or less the same as tapped armonics

while you are doing a repetitive pull-off/hammer-on lick, touch the string lightly with your hand and move it up or down the string, that way you can do all the armonics for those notes

you can do it on the high strings as well, but you should use your pick instead of your hand, so you don't mute them =)

It's ok. Its sort of like harmonics down the fretboard - you just do some crazy fingering with you right hand and mute the sitring above the pickups with the side of your left hand, its hard to explain - watch some vids on it :)

What isn't typical exactly? He's using minor pentatonic (e.g. blues) scales. This might astound you but a lot of Van Halen et al including Slash of Guns and Roses is blues too.

By that logic, if I just use the notes A, C, D, E and G, I am playing the blues. After all, those are the notes in the A pentatonic scale. However, that doesn't make it the blues. The blues, theory-wise, is a lot more than such scales. Just because Slash brings blues influence into his guitar playing doesn't mean he's a blues guitarist.
