@havoc001 actually rottweilers are normally gentle dogs it's the owners that make them vicious..... I have a rottweiler and he is the sweetest thing in the world. The main reason people think they are vicious is because people use them in dog fighting, and the main reason they use them in dog fighting is because they are so big. I feel sorry for those poor dogs.

Do they pose a consistent and serious risk to people/other animals? A very tiny number goes monster. Most of the stories you heard are either lies or made to look like such a big of a deal. Of course it will hurt more if a rottweiler bites you during play time rather than a terrier -.- it's pure physical. It has nothing to do with agression. Ben is a rottie in my neighborhood - he's the sweetest thing ever. He cuddles like a little kitten. Amazing :D
