Hahah i just got back from laos...and let me tell you, Vientiane is a bustling city and continues to expand. A lot has improved and there's plenty more to work on.

to us, Viangchan is like our New York City or our Los Angeles. It's metro area population is close to 800,000. At least it's not heavily crowded like other asian cities. it's a perfect size city and very beautiful too.

Laos does have the best coffee especially down south in the city of paksong in champasak province.. i loved laos was there in november of 2008 cant wait to go back for the southeast asian games in december of 2009
