i'm 18 and i raised listening to scorpions (motley crue, twisted sister, etc.) but, i prefer this version.. the power, the speed.. this is not a ballad at all, it's a version made by them, with different sections, different solos and rythims, tempos, etc.

Just brilliant! Congrats! It's not everyday we see a band picking up a legendary ballad and turn it into a better song.. My opinion, remember, don't start a strugle with my comment please..

hmmm, I do like Sonata Arctica's music but this is a Scorpions rock classic and if you cover a song like that you should do it perfectly and if they would have done the fast part right from the start I would have liked it more. The beginning seriously sucked, but like the rest :-)

Scorpions Forever! This i a good cover but not better than the Original Still Loving You... I think that you dont know about real music and lyrics. Τhe Original Still Loving You has a meaningless in its lyrics about a misiing love, and it has a very good melody. In this cover this feeling of missing love at the lyrics is gone, but the fast melody is very good.

As for making cover songs better or not, some bands just have a different sound to them that makes the cover their own, but makes it better/worse in some way.
