  • Yeah, have mdma with your close friends, it's actually amazing. Just need to have it in moderation like everything else in life.

  • I have Autism and I use Ecstasy to treat it. Ecstasy causes the release of a chemical called Oxytocin and holds back the Social Fear part of the brain. Autism prevents me from connecting with other people and makes me anxious in large crowds. MDMA doesn't "make" me have emotional connections with other people, it just lets me by getting rid of all social barriers. It's like taking a huge weight off my shoulders.

Legalise, control, regulate and tax. Problem solved.

  • Hmmm... maybe Ecstasy would've been more effective than Effexor at bouncing me back from Shitstorm '06. Wish I'd thought of it!

  • "...as boring as possible."

Yeah, it isn't often you get to see a scientific conference livened up with strobes, lasers, and loud psy trance.

  • mdma is an excellent drug that can benefit our society in every way!

  • cocaine, mdma, and lsd where massively used and originally seen as medication that helped interpersonal relationships, shell shock, repressed memory and highly successful. Morphine or heroin have bad reputations but no one would dream of depriving cancer patients of these medications. All medications carry risks but movies and drug dealing gangs should not colour what people think of these substances. Let not ignorance of the masses rule, perception is not truth.

  • ecstasy bottom line is formaldehyde meth, and was originally sold as a chemical precursor in germany during the early 20th century. and as we only use a small portion of our brains, the sad thing is many people use ecstasy that dont use whatever combination Nick Sand said would reduce the brain damage in that one talk, but owsley said specifically that mdma had made people he knows quite well uncool to a degree he did not think possible. and pure mdma is to acid as ant poison is to honey

  • If we are going to be serious for a moment. Are you seriously trying to tell me the government had no influence on the ban of ecstasy because "father" was making millions out of it. Many 'brain damage reports' were fabricated, this has been proven. Check out "MDMA: Ecstasy Rising" for an enlightening piece of information!

  • @dayday8421

I meant to give you thumbs up and gave you thumbs down by mistake. Sorry.

Hey, can somebody thumbs up the guy to make up for it?

  • @SailorBarsoom Much obliged, sir

  • and saying that was the worst "psychiatric" drug, and they all feel like ecstasy, is like saying i wouldn't want to kill whoever made all other psychiatry, so mdma, the flaying offer stands, if the aliens land in 2012 they will deliver them to me!!!

  • oh dear, Ambianimation, you really know how to send yourself up... Calling people names and talking derogatory might not be the way of discussing something..'

But what do I know..I obviously have permanent brain-damage

  • and people I have known have become totally unselfaware to a degree of uncoolness I did not think possible" Owsley Stanley

  • I tried using mdma for ptsd once, and it was pure and I want to flay whoever made it, it was absolutly horrible, and it is the most misguided psychiatric action i have taken and i have been forced many if not all psychiatric drugs. "mdma is not in any way a psychedelic and is a permanetly brain damaging and totally synhthetic amphetamine analog, cmoparing acid to mdma is like comparing honey to ant poison,

  • Did you use a marquis reagant to test it? It was likely not MDMA. It is a psychedelic, its has a moderate affinity for 5t1a receptor which is what nearly all psychedelics use to produce their trips.

Its not the MDMA creating trip but natural chemicals already in your brain that get released by the MDMA.

MDMA is believed to cause the release of oxytocin (the love drug), at least in part, by both directly and indirectly agonizing the serotonin 5-HT1A receptor.

  • @Percy203 wow you are disgusting. mdma in its pure form, is "like ant poison compared to if acid was honey" Owsley told me that, and you may think you tripped off ecstasy, but itn totally destroys serotonin. unnatural release of oxytocin is the most disgusting thing in existance

spit on your grave pig. ecstasy is the stupidest drug there is, it is a permanent brain damaging amphetamine analog, and has nothing to do with real serotonin and in fact destroys serotonin, making it a police drug

  • The recent legal studies conducted in america (due to mainly to MDMAs safety) and recently presented in the uk to the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the UK showed a remarked increase in curing one of the most serious mental health problems PTSD. A control group was given MDMA and then counselling and another group a placebo and counselling. In the placebo group 85% of the participants still met the criteria for having PTSD and in the MDMA group only 15% of them still had PTSD. Which is a cure

  • @ambianimaton

    LOL

You are very misinformed ... It doesnt "destroy serotonin".....

The damage u receive is when your body metabolizes it via oxidation. What happens is it's final form is a free radical, which is the part that causes the damage.. When coming off mdma, there is large decrease, at that moment, of serotonin, giving the free radical chance to enter a cell by SERT, thus turning that cell into a free radical. Anti oxidants, and a few other drugs can greatly reduce damage.

  • @ambianimaton

You tried using MDMA for PTSD once. How? You did it yourself? Your shrink gave it to you? What exactly does "I tried using mdma for ptsd once" mean?

Everything else you have to say about the drug is in conflict with the current understanding of the scientific community, so I won't bother with it.

  • DRINKING has caused me much pain and suffering.... when I turned to MDMA in moderation my life changed........for the better

  • MDMA is not as harmful as Alcohol. As long as you don't drink too much water from the dehydration feeling.

  • the "dehydration feeling" is from the dioxin bond, in fact butane behind dioxin, and it is the most unwholesome drug, including insesticide on nonorganic food, which only exists because of dioxin, that the most people have taken. agent orange was a dioxin, and it caused every disease. dioxin is the cause of all disease. since ecstasy is foreign terrorism, isn't that what they want? its germanic in origin.

  • It isn't beneficial for those who sell you drugs! Why!!! Because it works!!!

  • horeticle? Is that even a word? Im guessing hes never done mdma then, i remember when i first did it i was realy scared of it but as soon as it kicked in i went..... "this is great!" and no one got hurt and all was well :)

  • the word is 'heretical'

  • thank you

  • He might also be referring to the one or two cases where someone died from drinking to much water at rave. But your right, it's patently absurd when compared to the thousands of deaths every year from Tylenol, let alone prescription pain killers, alcohol and cigarettes.

  • the deaths were caused by "ravers" buying brownish purple powders, things like ground down rat poison, paracetamol, caustic soda and so on, the reported deaths only told us there were trace amounts of these drugs in their systems which could only mean they weren't looking for chemicals that might have been mixed to bulk out the ectasy and mdma, just that these party drugs were found in victims, but thats enough to ban the substance allegedly.

  • wooooooooohoooooooooooo :O)
