Im not talking about the genetics of a Dane that is a breed I am talking about dogs in general. When breeding you take a gene (genetics) you like and breed that into future animals. He could be the ugliest dog in the world but his height and the fact that he was well over 200lbs make him beautiful in my mind. People get way to caught up in thier breeds, instead of seeing the future of canines by mans side.
I heard this beautiful dog has passed away. The dog world has suffered a great loss. Please clone him while the genetic material is still avaliable. We need to breed the best genetics into future generations.
@bubbalove69 No its Titan who passed away. the one who had the title before george. He lost his title do to the fact that guiness measured both dogs differently. You should want to clone george as he does not posess very good comformation for a dane. Bigger is not better frankly the last three worlds tallest dogs have had poor comformation none of them should ever be breed.
@42lacey its a dog, not everyone cares about whether its a perfect specimen, most average dog owners couldnt give a crap. i had a chow named katy, she would let children she didnt even know pull on her ears and climb on her with nothing more than a sigh, we chose to breed her instead of our other chow joseph because his attitude sucked. they were both raised the same and treated the same but he liked to bite, especially boys. they should be bred based on their temperment not breed conformity.

Really beautiful! It is always gratifying to know that there are pet owners to protect them. I love the head (0:55). It has a ripple over his head, something like a BMW 5 series antenna.
What a big handsome boy, and his attitude is cool too! He looks like a giant Weimaraner with that unique coloring of his coat. Thanks for posting this!

a blue coat for great dane is not anything unique...It is very common just 1 of the 6 colors eccepted into the AKC show rings.
