MAJOR props to these cave divers: they r so freaking brave, i wouldn never, could never even attempt cave diving. i get clostrophobic with the bed comforter over my head! if i was down there i would freak out, hyperventilate, and drown!
@hazeleyegirl0801 I wanna know if any of the underwater caves in the world have pockets of air. Or pockets of oxygen even. Some pockets maybe of Methane or some type of natural occuring gas that bubbled up into them over thousands of years. Do these exsists? That kind of stuff fascinates me. What about pockets of trapped air in wrecks like submarines?
i agree babe4fish13, but there are some good dive story sites on the net too. Try the myscubastory site. They have real life dive stories and dive accident videos. Put myscubastory into google, and its the first result.
correct fishgirl15, but there are also good dive story sites on the net. my favorite is the myscubastory site. they have real dive accident stories and a collection of videos too! Type myscubastory intogoogle and its the first result - :)
there is usually very little to no creatures that live in these caves. And as for a falling stone, there are a lot of risks involved in cave diving like lots of things, but that shouldn't keep you from doing what you enjoy :)
@danman3150 "The Bends" is a decompression sickness where when you ascend too fast nitrogen bubbles in your bloodstream get lodged in parts of the body. When they get lodged in joints it causes them to bend. Its known to be very painful
@murleman Listen carefully mate. Choose another hobby. Cave diving is extremely dangerous. Read up the stats on how many people die because of it each year. You'll change your mind real quick.
guys i love diving. but i havent really got into cave diving because of all the dangers. i usually dive really deep creeks or ponds. on some accations i might go to lake martin and dive there but in all diving is a really good activity to do BUT never ascend to fast. i have never done it but nuver do please correct me but u can get the benz i dont know how to spell it sooo please tell me how to spell it lol
No. You can do it with an open water ticket. There are many dive shops that do guided tours. I did some out of Tulum. Absolutely amazing! Put Dos Ojos cenote on your bucket list.
It must be a unique thrill to navigate through these huge underwater chambers, to see the various formations and shadows dance in your light beams...like your own secret kingdom with a thousand mysteries waiting to be discovered in the beckoning darkness around the next turn in the passageway!

yes, if you do your dead! your oxygen will run out. but when you cave dive you always take a line from when you started so you can make your way back!
Thank you for posting this, I was there last month and didn't expect much from the mudhole entrance, but once inside it was absolutely amazing. Very good memories from that dive.
I am always looking for new adventures that push the limits. I think I know what I have to try next. Cave diving.... something so incredible, frightening but beautiful! Thank you for posting this. Great vid. :-)
Great journey! It is hard to imagine that there are so many vast chambers and beautiful speleothems hidden beneath the watery part of the world! Your photgraphy and videos give us a rare chance to see the wonders you have seen! I absolutely love these underwater caverns!!!
Good diving! Man I am excited about getting into Cave... I start my cavern in a few months and this is really what I want to do! Where did you get all the music on your vids? I really enjoy it!
I see you stopped just before the awesome zero viz exit. I love that cave!

i want to cave dive is it a good hobby to start getting into or what ?
murleman 1 year ago
@murleman it's pretty sick and worth getting into,
but you wanna build up plenty of confidence and skill in open water before you go,
night diving gives me the same thrill to be honest and is a little bit easier / safer
Cave diving is a whole different ball game but incredible!
hope this helps
