55 years ago, my father had a set of LP records of Mazowsze and the one that had this song on it was my favourite when I was a little girl. Unfortunately my sister sat on it and broke it and I was heart broken. I am so glad I found it here. I also love the Polonez and Lulajze Jezunui.

Also where can I find the lyrics? Maybe it would be easier if I knew the Polish word...
@jkftl Well, you mean the little sound the choir does after each verse phrase? It doesn't mean anything and there is no spelling for it. I hope I have understood well which sound you mean, as I presume you are no asking about the cuckoo sound in the chorus...
The lyrics can be probably obtained by searching the net for KUKUŁECZKA MAZOWSZE TEKST.
Just copy it from here and paste into your search engine. Good luck.

@jkftl - MMMMP doesn't mean anything, trust me! It might be , as you said, some regional punctuation, but nothing else.
As for the lyrics, I must have misunderstood you, as I had thought you could understand Polish. I'll try to translate the lyrics for you, as I don't think those translating devices are any good...

@vitekpiglet And I thank you again. I received all five verses. I have streamlined the English a bit for sending out. 'Kukuleczka" is definitely a ladies' song. The other performance on YouTube, from the CD, without any video, has all five and has very clear enunciation.
