I love his work and I love Charest's too, but I'm afraid too many artists nowadays are getting so far away from real "comic-cartoon" instincts and are pure draftsmen. I remember watching Mike Zeck drawing back in the 80's. That guy was amazing. His figures had tons of movement. Look at Captain America Annual #8. Mike Zeck could pull that stuff out of his head.

The first time I read Gen 13: Ordinay Heroes back in 1996 I thought comic book art had really changed. Around that time Adam Hughes and Travis Charest were miles ahead of just about everybody else in mainstream comics, in terms of just how much work they were willing to put in.

that would be impossible. lol Adam takes a list and tries to finish as many as he can during the con time (usually 3 days). Sometimes he does some sketches in his hotel room to get more done.
