That's not exactly correct. The "United States of America" is the formal name of the country, and "America" is the authorized short-form name. It can be called that, unambiguously, because no other country in "the Americas" has "America" in its name.

I assure you. The project budget and donations are transparent, and we will post all the expenditures. We are also registered with the Federal Election Commission and we follow their rules about reporting donations and expenses. How can 5 times as many Americans care more about a free concert than taking back America?
Well the Main Steam Media doesn't censor news of a concert; nyc has better mass transit and more people; the March brought people from all states. Hardly any mention of the March afterwards in Main Stream Media, though I heard that CNN quoted it as haveing 900 people show up.

All the delegates and alternates, if enough of us contribute enough money to make it happen. As of today, we have enough to manufacture our first DVD and are part way to enough to mail them to all 4,600 delegates and alternates. We need people to keep contributing so we can complete the first mailing and then do the second one. The sooner we have enough, the more energy we can put towards simply completeing the work, instead of trying to fundraise as well.

I admire your never say die attitude. The campaign has funds left over, so RP himself could fund this effort if needed. However, in the interviews I have heard, he has been very clear that he believes that he will neither be the nominee nor the POTUS.
Besides the Lincoln plan worked because it was unexpected. The RNC has purposely insured that there would be no chance of a brokered convention by convincing Romney, then Huckabee to "suspend" their campaigns. They will you fight to the death.

Dr. Paul is probably enjoying the break from campainging, and the increased media exposure he is being allowed now that the media blackout has been lifted. As long as they don't see him running, they don't see him as a threat. On the other hand, if by some miracle we do win him the Nomination in Saint Paul, we are certain he will accept it.

The cost of production on our rushed schedule is $1,75 per unit. But unlike homemade DVDs these are professionally manufactured, full color printing on the inserts and DVD and Cover, shrink wrapped in Bubble cases. If we were in less of a hurry, we could drop the price to About $1.15 a unit, but we are in a hurry. Sure you can have unlabeled DVDs from a home copier for the cost of time, electricity, and blank DVDs. We choose to make a quality product. No Bull!

Why would you need donations? I would absolutely love to see him nominated, but if I'm making a donation, its going to him first, and the fact that Ron Paul raised tons of money which I'm sure he still has. I simply cannot trust, even then, believe it will work, in this DVDs for Delegates.
Regardless if the video is authentic, you in the video don't sound it.

The Federal Election Commission limits people to a maximum $ contribution, for influencing a federal political contest...aside from the candidate.

You can buy 4800 blank/printable DVD-R's for $936 (do a basic google)
$275 printers like the Canon IP6700D does an AMAZING job printing on these blank discs and it's virtually indistinguishable from the professional DVD's you buy.
To burn/print/envelope 4800 Ron Paul DVD's should cost...easily under 2-3K.
So why are you asking for $125,504 (the middle number of your budget estimation) to basically repackage youtube/news clips?

A few questions
#1 What assurances do I have that %100 of the money donated will go to helping Ron Paul? I checked the website and found nothing to guarantee me that the money will be kept in check. No trustee, nothing
#2 People naturally are crazy for RP, and con artists can smell the money they can make ever since the "Money Bombs" worked so well.
#3 I just got a really bad vibe off of this guy. Also, the affiliation with infowars is just complete garbage. This smacks of "9/11 Truth"

#1 Are you worried he wont be getting money or is misusing the money? People think his fund raiser is a scam. If this was true, then many candidates have been ripping people off for decades. Dr. Paul doesn't accept government-paid junkets, so I'm assuming he isn't that desperate for money.

I assure you. The project budget and donations are transparent, and we will post all the expenditures. We are also registered with the Federal Election Commission and we follow their rules about reporting donations and expenses. My own credentials, as well as those of our treasurer, as well as the budgets, are all available on the website. Do your due dilligence, and you will see everything is outlined and reasonable, and any upright citizen is welcome to join us in making this real & right.

There should be a website on election day that lets everyone who writes in Ron Paul to go to and put their name and state to say that hey wrote in Ron Paul. That way an accurate count can be made. Otherwise those write-ins will never be heard of again.

It was greatm that 10,000 people came out and spent their time but on the same day as this march, over 50,000 people attended the free Bon Jovi concert in central park. So what is it people? How can 5 times as many Americans care more about a free concert than taking back America?

Well the Main Steam Media doesn't censor news of a concert; nyc has better mass transit and more people; the March brought people from all states. Hardly any mention of the March afterwards in Main Stream Media, though I heard that CNN quoted it as haveing 900 people show up.

All the delegates and alternates, if enough of us contribute enough money to make it happen. As of today, we have enough to manufacture our first DVD and are part way to enough to mail them to all 4,600 delegates and alternates. We need people to keep contributing so we can complete the first mailing and then do the second one. The sooner we have enough, the more energy we can put towards simply completeing the work, instead of trying to fundraise as well.

I admire your never say die attitude. The campaign has funds left over, so RP himself could fund this effort if needed. However, in the interviews I have heard, he has been very clear that he believes that he will neither be the nominee nor the POTUS.
Besides the Lincoln plan worked because it was unexpected. The RNC has purposely insured that there would be no chance of a brokered convention by convincing Romney, then Huckabee to "suspend" their campaigns. They will you fight to the death.

As long as they don't see him running, they don't see him as a threat. On the other hand, if by some miracle we do win him the Nomination in Saint Paul, we are certain he will accept it.

Same here. I already donated money to his campaign twice or three times. I forget how many times. But, I sure don't have the money to send the Ron Paul campaign after I know he's not going to make a real run for it as an independent.

For the past hour the count has indicated 201 views...but people have added another 7 comments in that same time, making me wonder why the view count not incrementing? No worries. It's our best day yet! Will the donations keep up we will try to update the donation page on the website with state by state stats at least once a day. We did an update just a bit ago with data from up to a three hours ago. Today at least 38 people have donated--amounts from $5 to $500, totaling about $3,200 so far...we still have a long way to go, but at this rate it is looking good.
