this is very helpful. i personally use a DA 3.5G at 3/11 with no acceleration at 1800 dpi and 1000 Hz, and it has never once positively nor negatively accelerated nor skipped in any game, ever. if the game supports directinput, 6/11 can be used, and damn is it accurate.
razer deathadder 3.5 they saying the jitter was eliminated in new version, its aint same comfy as ie3.0 but the sensor is faster and shappe is familiar. all the rest mices on adns9500 and philips twin eye sensor have some bugs of trust to what people saying, somehow huge hroup of people still like thier g9x or the gigabyte mices witch are both on 9500
nice video. it has brought me to my attention that i need to upgrade cuz of this vid. i have an intelli 3.0. i jus love it but i play very low sens (17in across my whole mousepad and i do a 130 degree turn). so i notice the negative accel alot cuz i swipe so fast. but i love low sens cuz it feels really stable (i play cs1.6). im trying to find a mouse that has no positive or negative acceleration and also no prediction/correction. can you recommend one?
This can't be fixed in WMO, u can only reduce the effect by using higher USB poling rate (500Hz - 1000Hz), on this movie WMO works at 500Hz. When WMO works on standard 125Hz the negative acceleration is huge and don't allow to play normal at all.
if someone said that, he does not know what he speaks of, DA does not have negative acceleration regardless surface, if the negative acceleration happens its because of game engine settings+high cpi and it's has nothing to do with cloth pad
if the guy playing on more than 400 cpi/inputs at "in_mouse -1" the negative accel will occur on any mice
u can prevent that situation by limiting the cpi/inputs by reducing the sensitivity in DA drivers or use "in_mouse 1" in game
