  • nothing says geinus like two flashlights taped together

  • may I ask what the white material you carved the base of the weapon out of is? I'm working on a sniper rifle of my own and have used wood for years. Searching for other options lol

  • Elmer's foam board; the same thing those school project trifolds are made out of.

  • Really? I would have never guessed that. Do you coat the carved base in something so it wont be so brittle?

  • Nope. Foam board is actually really ridgid.

  • Really? Wow. I'll have to try it out, thanks a lot for getting back to me.

  • Yup. :]

No problem. Anything else just shoot me an email. (can be found on my website, which is linked on my home page here at youtube.)

  • I have a friend who's a really big fan of your work apparently. she linked me to your video here because I make prop weaponry and monster costumes. I'm always looking for help from people who kick my ass at the craft =p

  • I probably would if I was a big a KZ fan as I am R2. lol Maybe in the future I might.

  • Do I spy a Morgy head over there? :p

  • Yeah but it was a failed head, I don't like it. So I'm remaking it.

  • ahhh gotcha, well good lucks! I'm excited to see it tooo!

  • that is so awesome! What did you use for it?

  • Use what for? All the lights I got? They'll be used for the heat stacks that sit on my back.

  • o sorry for not being specific, I ment what did you use for the base of your gun?

  • For the core base shape, I'm using a (Elmer's) foam board. I used the .5" and the .1/4" boards.
