what he says at the beginning of this video is so very true. sometimes it does take loosing everything to realize just how much Jesus means... about a month ago my family and I lost everything except for the clothes on our backs. we even lost our two best friends. our cherished pugs in a house fire. we were left standing on the street corner with nothing but our clothes and a burnt bible but now thanks to the glory of god we are able to spend this christmas season with praise in our hearts

i wonder what his response to God would be if he lost his voice permanentl. Would he still be able to sing "you are everything". Did he really lose everything? Its not that im against christianity, but i believe that its an important question to ask. If you didnt have a happy ending what would your attitude towards God be? It easy to say "God Your Everything" when life is perfectly fine.

It isn't always about happy endings...even Job said (speaking of God) that even if He slay me, yet will I trust Him. That is how it is with faith, you are putting your life - all of it - the good the bad and the really ugly things that can happen in it, into the hands of someone who is so far above human understanding and trusting that He knows what is going on and why. I'm sure Mr. West would still be able to praise God in other ways even if it wasn't by using his voice.
