latest info: the tar has been poured on the new section of the road so I hope the sarawak firm is able to do it, if the road has been finished early than the complete date, there will be a useful fund left otherwise all the fund would have been swallowed by the current contractor just like the previous contractor did. money has been spent but could not finish it and the money gone like this

ni aku dok balik pulau , for me stupid la buat camtu, y not buat terowong ja .. terowong jelapang, karak. semua leh buat terowong , tak yah nak nak pening2 buat camni. budget besar tarah bukit. sama ja gerun lagi ada la lalu situ sbb tinggi. bawah gaung. bengong. sapa punya plan projek entah. benda senang tak mo nak buat, suka buat yng guna budget tinggi, last tak cukup duit gini la jadinya.mujur la ada bukit baru tak di usik.

projek ni berenti pada 9 mac 2008 lepas bn kalah parlimen balik pulau.yb yusmadi kalah kan pompuan tua umno tu.terus projek ni berenti.apasal ang kata krjn negeri lak batal.jagan jd bodoh la edan.jangan nak mengampu.buat malu bangsa kita je.

suratkhabar metro kata 6 bulan tertangguh kenyataanya lebih dari 1 tahun dah tertangguh projek bernilai 57 juta ini sebab barisan nasional kalah di parlimen balik pulau ditewaskan yusmadi Yusof (PKR)

Project mula pada 2005 kut, tapi kalau projek henti Mac 2008, nampaknya macam tak banyak yg di buat. Corner corner kat jalan lama memang bahaya. Ada jambatan besi pulak, kalau hujan mesti licin bagi motosikal...

Apa boleh buat, duit rkyat digunakan untuk project macam ini. Actually, who needs this highway? Just make the existing old road safer and enjoy the slow paced drive along the scenic hills.
