FB Jean-Pierre. Thanks for the nice words. You are welcome to visit us in Sept Iles during the contest if you want. We're just a bunch of Yanks from Philadelphia, but really enjoy the people and hospitality in Canada and have made a lot of friends over the years.

In 2008 we used two Butternut HF6V's (QTH is only 2 mtrs above a salt water ground plane) and also used a 40 meter delta loop.
In 2009 we will have a 2 element delta beam on 40 mtrs and another on 20 mtrs pointed toward EU.
We are hoping for good propagation.

Hello Eric:
Yes, we have opertaed from the same QTH for more than 5 years and have good relationship with owner who let's us set-up antennas on his land behind the motel.
From our windows we can see the St Lawrence river and have good path over salt water to the North East (toward EU)
CU in the contest.

When we did our first contest DXpedition to 9M6TBT in East Malaysia in 2001 there were only two zones we did not work. Zone 33 in central Africa, and Zone 2 on Canada. Zone 2 is much desired in CQWW SSB and we figured "why not"?
Since then we have made many friends in Canada and make in an annual trip for our DXing team.
When propagation comes back we will be going to other parts of the world, but for right now, Zone 2 makes a lot of sense.
