I disagree with the statement "Unfortunately, plot and character development appear to have been left on the cutting room floor" from the description. I thought "Blade II" was a better film in terms of plot, and had just as powerful and subtle an exploration of the characters as the 1st film. I felt the first film (being part origin story) was bogged down in character development at points, and the plot was a little sloppy towards the end. After a point, I was like "come on, let's wrap this up!"

That was me playing young blade, was nearly 10 years ago now time flies! I personally think this should have been left in the film as its a good intro to how Whistler and Blade met.Could definately be developed more,would love to see a prequel focusing on Blade as a teen learning his craft from whistler.I'd defo be down to play the role!

First off, in Blade 3 the producers at New Line forgot what got them to where they were with the Blade franchise BLADE i.e. Wesley Snipes. They tried to make a Buffy the vampire slayer movie and forgot about the real fans that made that series popular.

Blade 3 had Ryan Reynolds making fart jokes, Jessica Biel programming her ipod or MP3 or some fucking shit with a playlist of music to fight by, and Parker Posey wearing the most ridiculous false vampire teeth I've ever seen. If that wasn't the clearest sign that the franchise had lost its way, then nothing is. It was a world apart from Deacon Frost and uber-cool vampires of the first movie

I'm not bashing Ryan or Jessica at all, their great actor, their profromance's where great, but inappropriate for the World of Blade, for the movie and franchise itself. Speifically Ryan character was terrible written, with the whumor not belonging to the movie and not fittening in the movie alongside Baldes Dark character. We don't need a funny, carefree, homurous character to balance off Blades Dark personality! (read next comment)
