This Ghazal always makes my heart beat a little faster. It is so fantastically sung by the one and only Ghazal singer Ustad Mehdi Hasan Sahib. I wish some thing equivalent could be made in today’s day. I feel robbed as part of this generation that we don’t have access to the wealth of culture that existed during the period from 1950-1969. Thanks to mediums like these through which we can glimpse into what the past had to offer. May God bless this legend health? (5th July 2011)
