imo it's one of the best, if not THE best RPG I have ever played. I just finished the game with a DW female elf Rogue and I just love how her story evolved from the slums of the Elven Alienage to throning the new King of Fereldan and defeating the Archdemon and the Blight. The dps on a cunning based DW rogue is insanely high, I had over 60% of team damage on my hero alone, and with her maxed stealth abilities she could place traps all over the field without ever being spotted. Best experience

Bioware has done a great job with all their RPG games and Dragon Age: Origins is no exception.I' ve been playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion for years and this game is the only one that will make me stop playing Oblivion for a while.

lol no thx I've already played oblivion to death am way past bored of it... also your response is a little late I've had DA:O for like two weeks now lol I have 3.. no actually 4 chars on it I must say it has a rather steep learning curve.. I like the game but my biggest complaint is the difficulty which is simply unbalanced.. for example you go several fights without breaking a sweat then suddenly your in some unbeatable fight.. oh well I suppose this has a work around aka casual difficulty :D

The origin is just the opening story that introduces you to your character, it takes about 45 minutes to complete each one.

Well, I made a decision to always play as the female characters first, because:

A)The Male Characters are often ugly F#ckers

B) It offers a interesting contrast when I play as a Male.

C) More males in the virtual World, And they have ALL the weapons; only 1% are gay.

There are too many possible combinations (3 races, 2 sexes, 6 speach styles) and Georg Zoeller, a BioWare developer, said that if the PC was fully voiced the game would've been around 50% shorter than its current 60 hours.

Agreed, plus I don't mind the straight forward what you see is what you're gonna say/voiceless dialouge gameplay. Takes me back to the KOTOR series and Jade Empire. The Mass Effect system is nice but I'd rather have a longer game than a PC that actually talks, it feels more like you could actually be the character you know?
