Since we were told to piss off from the moon, and haven't stepped foot on it since 1972, I don't think the colors matter much. But it's good to keep in mind in regards to other objects.  Armstrong doesn't talk about this crap for a reason.

i think that when we see in the larger part of the visible earth, we are no seeing the landscape, we are seeing the oxigen :O) all it is relative

Just goes to show we really don't have it ALL figured out like we would like to believe. There's so much more going on with the moon and us in general. The colour corrected Mars Photos too, show NASA for what it really is as far as WE are concerned. I care! i care a great deal!

I have an open mind and this is really facinating. It makes a compelling arguement about light diffusion and the images do look like they were made using the best available technology at the time.

unrelated to the color of the moon/earth, but the first clip of the earth is made to look like they are very far away , when in fact, the person with the camera is sitting against the back wall and a piece of paper is placed on the right side of the window - research it.
