  • One of the best albums ever produced.

  • Doug Rauch Bass, good lord what a monster!

  • Just Amazing !!!

  • Awesome! Always loved Ray! Lenny is the master on drums, whoah!

  • blasting this on my headphones is ecstasy

  • Not only bad ass playing, but some of the best surf video I've seen. Where is it and what video is it from? I'm thinking Maui, correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Oh punaise !!! énorme

  • I always dug Ray Gomez...his sense of melody and phrasing are very cool, accessible, yet still "out there". If you like this tune, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush's song "Tales of the Unexpected" is in a similar vein. My iPod is stuffed with music like this. Believe me, it never gets old.

  • Can you upload Prince and the Sea? It's my favorite.

  • 3:23 There we go. Thats what I wanted to hear. Good Ol' God shining on his Holy Hammond

  • mating drve in my head

  • Yeah This is one of the best guitar solos ever recorded, Ray just rips a hole into space time,

    Also this video cool

  • Great fusion stuff. High tempo, fantastic bass lines and drumming. Lenny is fantastic. Thanx

  • GREAT ALBUM!.. RAY kills so does everybody else! The REAL story.. Sly Stone is the first guy to slap playing around with a bass. Larry loved the sound and put it in his playing. Doug Rauch taught Stanley how to slap..he even did it better but Stanley was a better sloist with more chops. Larry was the Strongest in power simplicity and groove.. You can disagree till the cows come home! All these guys were great! From the horses mouth. Enjoy it anyway1

  • who cares who came up with the slap technique...lets be glad someone did haha!

  • dough rauch was not the innovator in slap technique, larry gramham started the techique then staley clarke innovated it.

  • doug rauch was the innovator in slap technique

  • 12 Bars From Mars, features the incredible bass solo from a young, 17-year-old bassist named Marcus Miller, of course now THE ONE AND ONLY, marcus miller. 12 Bars From Mars, hopefully someone will post this one too. Thanks Mack48034 for recognizing a great piece of work. T.C.

  • Great intense fusion,.. Can someone post the incredible "12 Bars From Mars"?

  • This a really fantastic song, inspired playing. Maybe it's a bit over the top, a bit crazy, out of control, but hey, that's what made Ray Gomez so great.

  • I have this album....nice sound...
