  • Does being part Mexican count

  • I thought the mexicans invented this form of traveling

  • How do you not cut your foot off?

  • Now just add a rudder using a piece of plywood attached to the back with 4' pvc cut in half resting on top of the edge of the innertube helf in place by straps or rope.

  • That's quicker then the refrigerator sailboat I made. I powered it with a fan and a really long 50ft extension cord. Just blew the fan on my shirt. I used my shirt for the sail since I really don't wear shirts. Can't beat it since everything was free from stuff I found laying around in other peoples yards

  • that looks like a good way to get around the lake

  • Don't even try to convince us you don't live in a trailer home, have an old Chevy truck, own 8 hound dogs and eat road kill for breakfast.... RED NECK :)

  • that is so red neck

  • oops, popped the tube, and cut my leg severely. bought a new tube, hey mom, wanna try

  • omg that's really dangerus

  • watch your toes!

  • This reminds me of the movie Wall-E when Wall E and Eva is in space when he uses the fire extinguisher. Looks fun and keep up the good work buddy :)

  • Thats awesome!!! Go to it!

  • sweet

  • i want one of those now x]

  • how u made the prop?

  • tape lol

  • it's not the size of your prop it's how you work it...i noticed alot weedwacker boat failures to be using the same oversized prop...i had to use a 130mm r/c boat prop

  • I must say you have to also be careful in location as some of the rivers in hawaii such as in kauai can look calm but be very strong.

  • @sweetciye could you just file down a trolling motor prop?

  • can't hear camera girl, weedwacker too loud :-)

  • redneck outboard motor

  • i was wondering if you could help me got all the bits to build on and put the propeller on and the engine runs with the rpoppeller in the water but when you pull the throttel the engine revs but the proppeller does not pick up speed. any ideas to why????

  • IF you are using a clutch driven trimmer, the cintrifical clutch cannot handle the resistance of water.

  • found out the problem, it didnt have a clutch but it had sheared of the bolt the drive shaft id connected to..

  • it's not the size of your prop it's how you work it...i noticed alot weedwacker boat failures to be using the same oversized prop...i had to use a 130mm r/c boat prop

  • Some weedwackers, especilly new ones, have a clutch fitted and these slip if the resistance is high. (i.e. the water is creating a resisiatnce to the propeller)

  • just at an chainsaw clutch, they nearly never slip

  • @desiredaffect broken clutch

  • Cool!

  • you know you just have to love a good old redneck

but im still saprised the cubans havent done that yet

  • @bigjoesharkfishin I'm cuban and yes they have done that. Just google floating cubans and the first link will show you how crafty we are.

  • @sxyphatboy Many Cubans are more redneck than most rednecks I know. (and I mean that as a compliment)

Any person who can make a 1950's truck or Cadillac float 90 miles from Cuba to Florida deserves to come to America, and be given a job in an engineering department somewhere. Maybe they could teach Detroit a thing or two.

  • @newsman1969 lol, yeah. the guy you’re talking about was able to come and stay, he has a job as a mechanic at a ford dealer here in Miami, or i think they gave him a car, but he is doing ok. Yeah i consider myself a redneck, lol i have a horse, a blue-healer, and i like country music, but now and then i can dance a good salsa, or merengue.

  • im suprised it worked

  • thats fucken awesome and redkneck like my uncle did that once. LOL

  • i want one!!!

  • wtf dude :D

  • lol
