Beaver Trapping March 28 29 2011

Hey man im just getting in to trapping and had a quick question..in setting a 330 castor mound set, does it matter what way the trigger is? (set regular or if you flip the trap over so the trigger is under water?) some say its better if the trigger is under water but just thought i'd ask

@goodfly1 i didnt know that i will try that next year! i only have around 2 weeks left and im going for rats, beaver, and mink. so i will try that with the mink! i got a 50 pound beaver today! look for the video!

Great trappin there guys, that was excellent! Man, that tree they cut down in the water on your first set is massive. Well done!

@AntiHuntersLoveMe corry, they have trees 3 foot wide cut down, and you see where all that water was well the guy who let us trap his property used to mow all of that land. once we get the beavers out (2) he can break the dam wich is 12 feet tall, and then he has to go pick up all the trees and moove the lodge. he has a lot of work ahead of him as do we.
