Lesson to children: If you don't like your house, fiddle with the gas, wires and plumbing and daddy will cave to your whim. It's not deadly, it's comical.
Lesson to parents: When putting out a For Rent sign, be sure to board up your windows too. Buyers love the "abandoned" look.
HA! I used to love this cartoon when I was a kid! I used to actually think that one day I'd open the fridge and the food would be on fire. It never happened :( I think I also wanted to iron my dad at one point....that didn't happen either...
Glad I finally got to see this with the audio in sync with the picture. Seriously, when I was little I had this cartoon on an old videocassette (along with Old Mother Hubbard and The Three Bears) and though I didn't notice until much later, the audio was like two seconds off.
I remember this from my childhood too. and little audrey and Somewhere in Dreamland and little lulu. this was one Of the cartoon episodes i could never find or remember the name of. god bless you tube. haha.
OMG, I jus noticed Lambkin is a ginger. :O

I had a compilation tape with this and other cartoons on it, when I was 4 or 5 years old.

I wonder if this cartoon was any inspirtation for the RugRats series? For a little kid, Lambkins did pretty well!

Lambkin's Daddy is the BEST!!

Leonard Maltin probaly despised the story line of this short subject.
dolphinluv2413 3 years ago
Yeah Maltin does seem to prefer some of the more idyllic portrayals of parenthood in his choices for animated films.
