I don't see how people think Lady Gaga in this... I imagine like those "future slave scenes" that you see in some movies where they're working with blacksmith hammers, etc.
Ha!! to mention Lady Gaga on this video is a serious insult. Lady Gaga is light years behind VNV Nation. No contest. Untalented, pop music filth like Lady Gaga has no place here.
This song basically is my entire belief. Humanity is on the downward slope, and, before long, will become exterminated, just as all life everywhere will be one day.
This is the only track that has dissapointed me so much, not because of the evil apeal to it, but the reason i loved VnV nation so much was the Hymnical lyrics mixed with the fast beat. This one is the exact opposite of what i like, slow and dark. VnV Nation is a great band but imo this deducts points :(
IMO, there is no going back. we will not "transcend." we've fucked up so badly that there is literally no way to atone for our sins. we've destroyed the one world we were given in the name of society and "evolution." fuck evolution.
there is something so deeply wrong with our species that words cannot describe it. what gives us the right to be better than everything else?
oh, the bad things absinthe does to you when you listen to this song >.> haha
Smorg85- oh yeah, I know. The words aren't evil, just the way it sounds. The beginning sounds like a mix of Ramstein and the Zerg soundtrack from Starcraft.
This is a song that those middle aged prats all across America who adamantly believe that the troops marauding around Iraq, the past few years, were doing "gods" work, should be forced to listen to.
Hell just ask Mr Bush.
RagingMokey, this song isn't evil, it just describes war and what happens to places that descend into war.
This is NOT evil listen to the truth of it! Evil has been the war & killing one another for differences in belief systems for years. The belief in a devil serves humans a reason to commit issues in the first place. We created sin & a reason to sin i.e. Devil Satan but we are the reason this song asks us to look inside & figure out why we think we need a scapegoat when we should face our demons & learn to be kind & loving OURSELVES! With NO Excuses!!!
I'm actually surprised they haven't used this for a movie trailer, it would be perfect for movies coming out soon, like "Angels and Demons" and "Terminater Salvation". It would be great for apocalyptic movies.
Love it .. fab song!

I don't care what people say..I like both Lady Gaga and VNV Nation. But I agree, the beginning does sound like something that Lady Gaga would do.
Problem?

@shoopt3hwoop I agree with MegaTouchy so now, they aren't the only one.

@MegaTouchy No it's more like Lady Gaga resembles something of VNV Nation. Lady Gaga couldn't get close to VNV Nation in a million years.

@esca8652 Yeah, I concur. It felt like that since I heard whatever Lady Gaga song that was before this.

Is it just me or does Ronan sound like an Irish version of Frank Zappa on this one?

I like the instrumental part of this, would make for a really good video game in-play music.
