The accident of the #6 Cosworth car at the Maternity Bend was Gio Fan.
The #17 Toyota Corolla who crashed at Police was Kaoro Hoshino as he led his class on lap 13.Andy Rouse lost the race because his front left shock absorber gave way.
Emanuele Pirro crashed because he dived inside Rouse, heavy on the brakes and crashed at Fisherman's Bend. He was taken to hospital for X-rays and revealed msucle damage and no broken bones.
First lap accident: Henry Lee BMW M3 punted into Eddie Lee's Ford Cosworth.
Misaki's damaged front bumper happened when he collided with Miyashi's Honda at Faraway Hill on the third lap and both of them went into the wall. But they managed to carry on racing and Misakei was black-flagged and he had to pit for repairs.
