  • that's a FAKE Alfa adapter

  • whats the range on this bad mofo? how far you think you could be away from a router and still have a good connection?

  • @vcuzzo this thing gets nearly 2km range if you have the right antenna...

  • Amazing Adapter! Cheapest (GENUINE!) One I Found Is Ebay Item Number: 270764073764

You Dont Need To Install It. It works straight away with Backtrack, Amazing Adapter For Receiving & Injecting Packet Data

  • People of "You Tube" , I need Help !!!! Here's my problem. I have recently purchased a new Hp I-5 desk-top,(with internal wireless). And I have recently purchased this adapter (shown in this video ). now I hooked this up to the three foot Yagi (Outside antenna). BUT, I can't get this thing to work ! I do know about changing the network connection (which I disabled my P.Cs 802/wireless).But, still doesn't work !It's got me Stumped ! I've had two people with P.C knowledge,Stumped ! Please Help !

  • It's not a alpha, and it has not 1000mw either, it's unfortunately a clone and it's not even close as good as the original AWUS036H or AWUS036NH adaptor.

RTL 3070 chipset and no 8225 power amplifier as in the real stuff.

  • Hey. I need help. When I plug in my ALFA. I get USB Device Not Recognized instead of "Installing hardware driver" or something like in windows 7.

And may I know a list of different wireless USB adapters I can get. I live in K.S.A currently and the only one anyone will be able to buy in a computer store or anywhere is the ALFA. And in jarirbookstore the Belkin USB WiFi adapter.(Which you can buy for $20 which is SR75. But It costs over SR100) I want a list to compare the products. Size no matter.

  • @sheikhan13 i have the same problem

  • Hi. I ordered same 2000mW alfa with same 9dB antenna. Can you say what kind of range you got with yours ? tried to find your review video but didn't found any.Having any problems with that set ?

  • Yeah I dunno I just never get around to it, I'll do it very soon I swear haha.

  • ya don't show the cable or anything that's not important at all

  • @beta447 What? I showed the usb cable and the connectors what else did you want to see? How is me showing you the usb cable important anyways? Anyways I have 2 of these babies and I'm gonna do another review soon and I'll show the cable, the 15dbi antennas, the smaller ones and all that. :P

  • where's the follow up video?

  • @sophiepopped Yeaahh, full time college really isn't an excuse I'm about to do a review video soon.

  • well its been over 6 months now mate, wheres the follow up vid as promised? :)

  • I just got mine today and this thing is f-ing awesome! Even with the omni-directional antenna it max-out signal quality. I was looking at the 2MW, and was getting some off and on reviews about it. Anyway, this things rocks!!

  • @Kaname628 the 2mW version sucked for wireless b and g, I didn't really have any wireless N to test it with it might be awesome with wireless N but because of the sensitivity it sucks when using it for wireless b or g. I sent mine back and just got a second 1watt because I never encounter any wireless N only AP's.

  • @hmjgriffon , Bloody hell! That sucks. I thought it would of been backwards compatible? I don't have N ether, but I thought with N service the rang would extend... Not that I need it but it would be great. Funny thing, I got mine on ebay for 26 bucks or something like that, it came from China and the driver cd was in Chinese, so lucky for me I let windows do its thing...lol...

  • @Kaname628 different frequencies and things, I guess you can't have all 3 work well on the same adapter, until N is everywhere I'll stick with specializing in b&g haha.

  • @hmjgriffon, Funny thing... It really should only be G/N, cause who really uses B?...lol... I'm gonna look into some directional antennas and see what pops-up...lol...

  • @Kaname628 Well N can be 2.4 or 5 ghz, g is 2.4 so I don't know that there is any adapter that does both well, as for b, its there for legacy, I have b disabled on my home router, because if you have even one b client on the network it slows everyone else down so I go g only.

  • @hmjgriffon, Like the old real tape silos that stay online for legacy...lol... Good talk, you rock man!

  • send it to me =D

  • do u know if i can get Alfa AWUS036H in bestbuy or compusa?

  • @angelsilva54 Nope, all the crappy adapters that I "thought" were awesome at bestbuy etc. got nothing on stuff like this. I didn't even know you could buy adapters this powerful and it was cheaper than the garbage they sell at compusa. Those adapters are usually around maybe 20mW if you're lucky this of course is 1000mW. You can find them on amazon though for about $35 or so, totally worth it.

  • I just bought the same wireless device and it was a mayor pain to try to install in windows 7.. hope you have better luck. I ended up returning it.

  • @mitubo1915 Then you were doing it wrong, windows 7 ultimate just picked it up, but the website offers drivers for every version of windows and linux so I dunno what you did wrong but it worked great for me.

  • hahah, "mumble mumble -one bad mofo-mumble mumble",

  • We are waiting your new video!!!!!

  • Yes please post a review along with it a test.
