Never intended for video (which transfers with the muddy, dull colors seen here) this 1982-83 six-projector multi-image slide show was produced by the internal art department at Bell Labs for the 20th anniversary of the Holmdel facility. Multi-image, considered very cutting edge at the time, is a dead, unplayable format now. Synchronized slide shows were used for Labs employee communication, trade shows, and public presentations from the early 1980s into the early 1990s.
they shouldn't have expanded the building, they actually destroyed a master piece, if they needed more space they would have built another building, it's a shame
Interesting, I live myself in Holmdel and myself never knew too much about Bell Labs. Its interesting to know, kind of sad though now that the whole building is going to waste.
