  • your asking for ur house to be burned down..

  • @September1120 i've changed it around somewhat, plus not all of it ever runs all it the same time.

  • Zyejxkwuvjwqixjbi

  • Thanks for the quick respond the reason why I want a DVD recorder is because I can't afford a good laptop I have a really good desktop so i can't take it places because I go to my dads and stuff but just from the few videos that I saw with a dazzle looks bad and the videos I saw with a DVD recorder looked pretty good But yeah eventually if it takes off I will get a pvr

  • Also I want it to where I don't need a computer so i can take it places and don't have to worry about my computer

  • Ok i play on standard def and I want a recorder. Now I've found out I can do it with a DVD recorder and just rip the DVD onto my computer. I don't want to buy a 200 hdpvr I want to stay in the 100 range. Do you think it would look descent PLZ respond

  • @le9it9amer ripping it to a DVD would result in a 480P picture, which is fine for what you are trying to do. A dazzle recorder costs less than $100 for sure, I think about $60 or $80. As far as not having a computer, it's essential the way I record. If you are going to a DVD recorder, then you probably wont. I would think just replace you're recorder with my computer in my setup. good luck

  • You should really get to the point faster

  • Never Thought that jrb would accouly respond to me @_@

  • @Super123hunter word. I'm pretty active on all my video's comments. All 300 or so.

  • Windows Movie Maker is What I Use to Edit My Videos

  • @ssoniczs56 i used it when i first started making stuff. The more recent editions are somewhat limited compared to historical versions

  • i have a 64" :D

  • @Super123hunter my best friend had the N64 (mario, star fox, etc.) I had the SNES and the PS1

  • oh my god dude GET ON WITH IT

    thumb'd down

  • lol srry bro but idk i got a lil confused about all the cable plug ins i kept replaying the video but i still cant seem to get it

  • @LeGiTTGiGGiTTy cables out of the game system into a switch box. split the output of the switch box using 'y-cables'. side 1 goes to your tv. side 2's audio goes into a mixer then back out to the pvr or a dazzle. side 2 video goes straight to the dazzle or the pvr.

  • i have a 42" and a 22" in my room and im 13

  • @louiehoovermoco nice dude. I'm 24 though...

  • @louiehoovermoco well im running triple monitors, 23" 22" 22", Blackmagic Intesity pro, gaming PC, and 3 xboxs, beat that!!!

  • @AlexThomasDarling nice! Independence!!!! MAP!!!!! WASHINGTON!!!

  • Dude that is like my exact setup :P good vid btw

  • @RedScopeRed great minds think alike

  • can i rec with ps3 headset stereo or no sound ??

  • @x7atm this type of setup will record your headset through the mic

  • skip to 1:30 so you could skip all the crap

  • i think your my hero if what i think is correct ! does this mean that i can stream my xbox audio and freinds talking while recording my own voice so that i can do live commentarys on justin tv

  • @darhdaz1 yep. live streaming is something i plan to do eventually.

  • @jrb542 Brilliant cheers looked all over youtube for this :) merry christmas !

  • @darhdaz1 thanks man. merry christmas

  • Super nintendo = Epic..

  • how do i record my voice with the limited edition MW3 turtle beach?

  • @TheGodJeremie not sure man, i haven't messed around with a gaming headset before.

  • if ur going to buy a pvr buy the gameing adition . its eiser to set up and comes with all the cords and voice all that

  • nice man

  • I have same PS2 memory card :D

  • @wiskyBOY123 i rememeber that the yellow one was cheaper than the black one back in the day for some reason??

  • Can it the HDPVR be hooked up to a stereo reciever?

  • @cowmilkify you would have to piggyback the audio out from the switch box that is headed towards the game console. that should work. according to what i see on their website

  • i got a hauppage hd pvr, tritton headset, no mixer. how can i record live commentaries and gameplay at the same time?

  • I really need help I cant see my xbox on my TV help

  • The first 3 minutes of this is "Hey look at all my stuff... it shows how awesome I am."

  • @cowmilkify it's a stanton mixer. I got it at best buy for about $100. check online also, it could be cheaper

  • what if you dont have a mixer?

  • @porshtstudios not sure of a way to record personal audio along with game audio besides recording the audio later as a post-commentary setup involving recording straight to your computer.

  • @jrb542 You can use a gaming headset like Tritton or Sharkoon. Just plug the USB cabel into the computer from your decoder.

  • @Vulture7Gameplay hmm really, I'm thinking about getting a nice set of headphones to game with. (wireless of course)

  • i had so many ps1 games but my mom made me sell em

  • @scanjet1000 that sucks dude

  • ok how do i record my ps3 headset while ingame without the mixer, i have a plantronics 777 7.1 headset and i cant get my mic to record, i have a compro standard tv tuner/capture card

  • @MADagain321 i don't think there is a way unfortunately. I know my mic shows up on other screens and not my own. Maybe an option in the accessory options on the PS3, but I don't think there is a way.

  • @jrb542 nah there aint oh well thanks anyways tho, do you no how to record my mic like using audio splitters, like rca to 3.5mm jack then get a 3.5mm in to out (x2) would that work

  • @jrb54 have you figgureg it out yet? if not yes there is an option to activate your mic on ps3 i did and i annoyed people after that you have to go to accessories options then go to setting the audio device then choose or like install or conect the headset you have plugged into the ps3 with and tada!:D you can use the headset mic;) but as i said you might have figured it out now:P

  • @117starpower yeah, i couldn't get it to work right. glad someone did though (sorta atleast)

  • @jrb542 can i do this with the xbox too? if not how can i do it then?

  • @117starpower yeah dude. no problem, the connections should be exactly the same as my ps3

  • im truthfully not trying to buttrape you lol but u should have more light in your vids

  • @RideMachetePS3 yeah, a nice camcorder instead of a point-n-shoot is on my list of things to purchase. It's cool, I know.

  • Recorded With A Potato?

  • @Sindri9292 what? Portal 2 reference?

  • @jrb542 no

  • @jrb542 No he is just being an asshole saying the quality sucks. It's fine BTW

  • @unchearted oh gotcha. thanks for the clarification. Posted with a potato...

  • @jrb542 No he is just being an a-hole saying the quality sucks. It's fine BTW

  • What are all the materials, also what are the prices? good video though...

  • @AwesomeMegaBalls i put in a materials list.

  • u keep your ps3 there and your going to get the YLOD

    just saying..

  • @TheresNoMoreAmmo not enough airflow you think?

  • @jrb542 yes, its too crowded down there, put it some place where it can breath. It should have the minamum of about half a foot of space for the side and the back.

  • @TheresNoMoreAmmo i got the vertical stand for it, i guess i should get it out and use it!

  • Super Nintendo is still the Shit-3

  • @ReVeRTxVeLOCiTY2 word! I still got mine as you saw!

  • Do u use 1080i? or whT u use ??? Wich 1 BETTER ? I only got 720p & tha 1 b4 it checked ...

  • @extremeF4TL the tv i record on is only a 720p, so I have my PS3 set to output only up to 720P. 1080i might have more detail from a technical point of view, but doesn't look that much better if at all in person. Having the PS3 set to 720P allows for less processing on the tv side of things.

  • What is the name of the HD switch box you are using?

  • @thedonofthesouth "component video switch" i got it from Best Buy.

  • composite is the name of the yellow cable and the red white and yellow are called av cables

  • @MADagain321 yeah, i switch between them without regard for correctness!

  • u have a lot of video games

  • @CODZOD23 not that many dude, but I got a quality collection I think!

  • @jrb542 cool!

  • So you need alot of stuff just to record your own voice, not worth it

  • @TheMrElitee yeah, it can be kind of expensive.

  • @jrb542 where would you get a mixer at??

  • @Matthewjacovino any kind of music/dj store. i got mine at Best Buy in the musical instruments dept.

  • I have a question do you need the Houppage to work with the mixer ? I already have a Dazzle to record my videos I just need a audio mixer to record my voice while I am playing at the same time will it work ?

  • @KimsCobra yes, i used a dazzle for quite some time before i got the hauppage. yes, just run the video to the dazzle and run the audio through the mixer then to the dazzle and you're set! be sure to split the audio so you don't hear yourself on the tv!!!!

  • @jrb542 Thanks for the tip !!!!

  • what should i do for the audio because i dont have a mixer??

  • @goodlad118 a mixer is really the only to get your voice on there in real time. you could record it and then do a voice over in post production i guess, but some of the real time reactions are lost in my opinion; but hey whatever works!!

  • this vidio really helped, thanks alot dude, but the houppage is a little exspensive, i use dazzle

  • @goodlad118 thanks man. Yeah, the dazzle can get the job done no doubt about it. The HDPVR is really the only way to go HD for non-mac folks. I did buy it on a whim in truth.

  • if u scrool down lol

  • my hauppage was £165

  • @TFXz141PRoDuCTiONz according to Google, that's about $270, which is a little high for the States, but hey...I'm sure getting it there costs some money.

  • does this also record the other peoples voices your playing with?

  • @leotheman2003 never tried it out, I would guess a traditional mic would be more optimized for that!

  • Comment removed

  • Interesting... How much did all that stuff cost you? Did it take a lot of your budget?

I might try making a few videos myself... It's tempting.

  • @Shurryy Hmmm, cost....uhhh. $The hauppage capture was about $200. I used a dazzle for most of the time, which it was about $80. The mixer I have was about $100. Magix Movie Edit software was about $50. The switch boxes were about $40 each. I already had the microphone from something. Cables, uhhh probably around $100 or so. I do work somewhere that sells this stuff, so I did not pay full retail price. I'm sure the internet has some better pricing somewhere.
