The only way the music would sound terrible, is when you get zapped by Lightning. Otherwise, the music is perfect. N64 Bowser's Castle is a perfect example of this. I love the music but not when zapped by Lightning.

@tarpey103 MK64 had aweful graphics, which are typical for the N64. The one thing I loved about it. It didn't have as much action as the later MK games and drifting has been introduced in Double Dash as the first 3D MK game with drifting, but still, nostalgia stays nostalgia.
