  • J.D., you are still the king of the modern day banjo and if you don't mind being next to Earl :-), and I know you don't. You are simply the real deal buddy...Jack Baker NYC

  • Thanks a ton for posting this. JD really makes this ol' chune JUMP, and it's great to have both his hands in full view, and the banjo sound up front (even if the area away from his mic is kind of muted)--at least for all of us who've wanted to learn to play this the way he does!

  • Kicks butt!

  • Good video but lousy audio if you're trying to feature J.D. Can't hear him.

  • I love the way JD uses syncopated walk downs in his backup.

  • ca envoie du lourd

  • Here's wishing JD a speedy recovery from his broken arm .

  • I hope you post more of these. Thanks.

  • Get well soon JD. He broke his left arm yesterday in two places on his way to the Joe Val festival.

  • What I cant figure out is why they're wearing in -ear monitors. Nobody sings......

  • @BreathDoctor because they can.

  • @BreathDoctor You figure that was the only song of the show ?

  • @BreathDoctor if you look at ludwig's other vids you'll see some songs with singing from this same show.

  • @BreathDoctor Still very difficult to hear everyone on a noisy stage with thousands of people in the crowd. They sing on other numbers.

  • That's the same shirt he's wearing on his Wikipedia page........Now I gotta get me one so I can pick a little more like JD!!

  • nice!
