i am also very interested in this. i want to buy an oscilloscope for my synth for live performances. what do i need to obtain to make it work, what kind of cables, what kind of oscilloscope do you recommend? i have a moog analog synth.
its a whiteish powder kinda like whats on the inside of a flouresent tube and wen the light beam shines on it, it lights up just like viewing a movie projector on a screen. so what can happen is if the light beam is to intense you can actually burn the powder (phosphorus)just like frying a leaf with a magnifying glass.
please let me know how I can connect my 'found' o-scope to audio...I know about coax cables...is there an adapter, coax to phono type thing that you use??
The probe from my scope has two leads... one is a ground clip (alligator clip) and the other is a little finger clip. I plugged a 1/4" cable to the headphone out of my synth. I plugged the other end of the cable into a loose 1/4" jack. Then I clipped the leads from the probe to the jack... tis that simple.
Hey that is an old techtronics scope. One of those modular ones. Cool. The pedal makes for chaotic visual and sonic presentation!
