Amazing!!! I wish I could do this, I have had a few attempts at fondant but just can't get a handle on it :) My son would love this ! Well done amazing
Beautiful cake!!! I just have 3 questions how did you get the rainbow arches to stick with out falling?.....and how did you make all dose intricate shapes and letters?.....and what is the nail polish for did you use it on the cake?...I really want to make a cake like this for my little girls birthday and I have never used fondant.

@JCCessy07 Each rainbow colour arch of fondant had wire going thru it to hold it's shape and stuck together with edible glue (which is the clear liquid in the bottle that looks like a nail polish bottle. The wire bits that stuck out of the rainbow were stuck into the cake to hold the rainbow up in a standing position once it was dry. The letters & shapes were done by using cutters. Hope that helps - it is quite a difficult cake to attempt if you haven't used fondant before.
@JCCessy07 There are great videos that show how to use fondant etc on youtube. Try checking out Mayen's channel (user name 09165067633) or Lorraine's Channel (user name aine2) : )
This is FANTASTIC! I can't believe this was for a 3-year old though but God bless your heart. Would you share your fondant recipe? Most of the comments I hear about it is it doesn't taste good and just gets left on the plate. If kids eat your fondant then it probably tastes great!
Thank you! This was a first attempt at this cake so it took me a while to do this cake - just over 2 days I think from memory - one of my hardest ones to do ; )
wow..so does the thick fondant allow the cake to stay fresh? (im assuming the kids wouldnt eat the fondant anyway) You're truly talented, thank you for sharing :)
Actually a lot of kids like eating the fondant & the fondant doesn't go off for a very long time! Cakes go stale quicker when exposed to air so once the cake is covered it will stay fresh for a while ; )
Rylan you are making me blush again!!! I'm glad you like this cake - it was one of my hardest cake to make. It's actually going to be printed in the official Wiggles magazine in Australia next month so I am really excited to see it in print!
You are one tough lady, this cake is absolutely astonishing! I am very impressed! Your work is as professional as Pink Cake Box, skilled to make high end cakes.
Your cake is absolutely flawless as always. The fondant work is so refine, the board that you covered in fondant is so smooth and tremendously clean, I just can't believe it. The vehicle is also whimsically done, I love it! The passengers are soooooooo adorable! Love those as well. One thing I'm glad you added is the
Andrea that is perfection wow! You fondant gets so smooth and it looks just perfect!
I have a question for you, how can you get such a smooth finish when you roll out your fondant so thinly? I tried to do that but the marks of the cake was all over it :( please tell me your secret:
Thanks sweetie! I get marks all over from the cake too- I just smooth it out by rubbing my hands over the layer of fondant & also smoothing with a small ball of fondant in a circular motion - like buffing it ; )
Actually someone saw this cake & wanted to put it in the official Wiggles magazine that is printed monthly here in Australia. So a photo of my cake & the birthday boy will be printed in the October issue this year!!!! I'm sooo excited to see it in print!
Oh! WOW! its an amazing cake. Love the vibrant colors . I bet there was a lot of thought process behind this cake but you make it look so easy. Lovely tutorial sp for newbies like us. Thank you.
