Hey, you know what??? You were right! two weeks ago, a 5.1 and 5.3 earthquake did hit us. check out the news! And since, there's been a lot of earthquake activity at the north-east of our island. Nice job! The most recent one just occur at the Dominican Republic...

@SmileAndGrinn You complain about people "hating on this guy's video" and go on to comport yourself in a worse fashion by telling them to F off. You complain about people's ignorance, yet you misspell the word with an e instead of an a. I suggest that you clean your own house before complaining about how other folks behave.
Hello. What is you Full name, slowly? And qualification? For the you tube videos you have posted about the plate slipping / slippage..,,in Puerto Rico, and why haven't you sent links to local news stations in Florida? If there is any truth/facts to your findings lose of life can be severe! Thanks.
Dutchsinse, i actually take this seriously, i dont know about your qualifications but i do know that these earthquakes are happenning quite often in the area you are referring to. What really stuns me is the lack of info available about this. Nada on the news. So my ques to you. How does one prepare, what can one do, how much time to evacuate miami bch..Whats the time frame before it reaches east coast. Who should we contact? Any suggestions dutchsinse??
"Next few weeks to a month at most"? Uh was the original description of this video edited? I was under the impression that something was IMMINENT when this video first dropped....
Be prepared? Seriously? I don't think stocking up in Cans, Water and Batteries is going to help me much if our island sinks 25,000 feet under water. =P
I'm from in Puerto Rico and this is something that was stressed in my Geology class in college; there's been a lot of seismic activity around the island recently, even more than usual in the volatile Caribbean plate region, and people are starting to get prepared for a large-scale earthquake + tsunami like the one we had in 1918, though I'm sure that with disasters like this you can never be too prepared.
Dutchsinse, I can't thank you enough for this information. I really hope what you're predicting doesn't come true, but I can't shake the feeling that you're right. If what you say does happen, and it's an earthquake near Puerto Rico, then the entire state of Rhode Island (my home state) would easily be completely submerged. One important piece of RI geography is Narragansett Bay; a Tsunami coming from PR would shoot right up the Bay, a direct hit on Providence. I'm not sure what to do.
Hey. There was a 3.4 magnitute Earthquake in the North West part of P.R. yesterday at 12:34. The Crazy thing is that I'm headed to P.R. on Tuesday. You were right sir...
dear sir....your estimate for a japan earthquake ....well 7/22 a 6.5......good job ....sorry about poor japan thou.........i do feel we are about to be hit with something very very big.......whats your theory on E.L.Enin........
Well I live in Puerto Rico and I don't know if anyone else has notice that every time a space station or satellite is passing trough always something happen a tremor weird blue flashes in the sky huge blackout like the one this morning at the exact same time were two satellites above us.... nahh maybe was a coincidence
I'll admit you have been frighteningly accurate in the past, but wouldn't the chain of islands stop a tsunami from reaching the shores of the eastern seaboard or the gulf coast?
And your predictions are based on what???? I know you are using USGS,but where is your scientific data that indicates, that there is going to be an earthquake on a specific day and hour?? If so tell me when exactly is going to happen,i want the magnitude of the earthquake and the the aftershocks, also day, hours, minutes and seconds.
you are not even a human that should be killed by horrible torture for wasting a healthy body, you are also stupid for a) your stupid comment and b) for not have any education about what people live in beautiful PR. little kid get out of your moms underwear.
Maybe so,maybe not... Planet Earth does what it wants to do. So as the space. You never know, expect the unexpected. They wont put it on the news, until doom be upon us, where we as human being cant do nothing.
Thanks for sharing this info, at least in Puerto Rico have mountains people can go there. I live in Flat Florida no way to escape from a Tsunami. Very nice and informative video. is better be safe than sorry!
Wow it's true we puertoricans have a minimal Tsunami Warning I know God will spare our land I live near the Ocean so I would be exposed to the Tsunami... God protect our land... I know your tired of all the same but I want to live my life thanx for the video God bless you and thank you for the concern for us and it's also true what you said nothing it's being said on the news for our protection
Fear is what protects us from danger, it's healthy to fear. But it is much better to "prepare". If you are mentally, and physically prepared you do not need to fear.
The North American Plate & Caribbean plate line is about 200 miles north of Puerto Rico & it curves around & is over 300 miles to the east & that continues around to the South American Plate. To the southwest is the Nazca Plate & west of that is the Cocos Plate & then the Pacific Plate. There is 20mm per year movement all around the Caribbean & 71-88mm yearly towards Western Venezuela & Columbia & 72-81mm movement in Central America where the Cocos plate subducts. Those are high hazard areas.
Ok, this sounds right. But truth is nobody knows when it is happening, only GOD knows. Experts have talk about it ( lagre earthquake of PR.) and have sent warnings out to be prepeard for it. It is only a matter of time! But people dont go crazy about this video, we have been hearing this for years now. We should know better! Just have plan for when time comes. God bless PR!
I live in Puerto Rico (PR) and believe some natural disaster will happen soon but not only to PR in the US and other countries too. Preparedness is very important. I would like to see more supporting data in relation to the possibility of a quake in PR. We had a quake last dec 24 Christmas eve, it gave us a really good shake, a wall on my house cracked, no mayor damage beyond that.
YIKES I live on the beach in southeast Florida. Thank goodness my condo has internal staircase up to 160 feet and is very strongly built. I wonder if that is a false illusion of safety as it is a 1 day drive ( with no traffic) to get to MOUNTAINS and High Land and i would hate to be stuck on the highway. DO YOU HAVE A TIMING ESTIMATE ?
ok people i think hes right you know this few weeks i have been checking earthquakes in puerto rico and omg lots of foreshock never seen anything like this in puerto rico and plus yesturday a 4.0 happend a sine that the big one is coming.....am just saying but is not 100% going to happend ...but always be prepare for one you never know
I am actually very lucky to be Australian. We never have Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Volcanos, Tsunamis, or large earthquakes. We VERY RARELY get tremors, which are below 4 on the Richter scale. I feel really bad knowing that in just a few countries over the world, all these people are suffering everything, sometimes all at once. I hope that people stay safe, and will sub to this guy for more warnings! :D
You referring to the people who are skeptical that all these earthquake videos and radiation videos are educational in warning and helping people or instilling fear onto people? I personally think the lather as its very common if your using ultra sensitive equipment to record minor quakes. Its a natural process that, if was conducted 50 years ago would still have the same results.
Well I do know that a Tsunami hit the west coast many years back, but I do also remember the earthquake from mexico and more recent one in Haiti, if you look closely you will see they both happend in the same fault line that PR sits on, its a matter ot time people but as soon as in the next few years I doubt that, the fault needs to build pressure after Haiti's Shake and the little quakes are not letting that happend.
I have a parrot that senses earthquakes a few seconds before they happen and she panics and squawks and flies across the room crashing into a wall, so that is my alert, and when we lived in LA she did that several times when there were significant quakes, however she's never ever reacted like that in Puerto Rico because these quakes are so small you do not feel them, and they're very frequent. Look at the 500 year old buildings that are all still standing, and think about it! Geez People!!!
thanks man for this, even though you warn us, if a tsunami comes to PR we are pretty damn doomed, but none the less, thanks for the vid, hopefully it doesnt happend
Many of you don't trust his words. But I want to know, "how will many of you react or even say when what he is warning the people about comes true?" I'm just saying... Be blessed.
alot of ungrateful bastards in this world, it's just a warning to be on alert, thats it, if U don't like the channel go watch a music video or something.
you have no idea what you're talking about, dude. seriously, if you knew anything about geology, you would know that a lot of smaller earthquakes are a good thing. it means that the fault is letting out stress in small bursts and that there isnt an excess of it building up. without that stress, big earthquakes dont happen. where one would really worry is in an area of little to no seismic activity, because that area is not relieving stress efficiently. and BTW, the plates are always moving. DUH
@balletghostfreak95 funny.. a person just like you said the exact same thing about japan 2 days before the big one when THEY were swarming up like this.. i never heard back from that critic.. will you stick around long enough to eat some crow?
@balletghostfreak95 Are you willing to stake your reputation and pay a personal visit to Puerto Rico on the assumption you're not only right but haven't been misled at all in the entirety of your education? On a completely random tangent, but if you're not inside a small box you'll see just how relevant this is: What is your opinion on the Growing Earth theory, and is that opinion based at all on the assumption that the Earth cannot grow?
@balletghostfreak95 you are right, he doesnt know what he is talkin about. Look at how he supported his argument. By saying some mystery guy said the same thing a day before the Japan quake. LMAO... great scientific evidence..
@balletghostfreak95 "Each magnitude level represents about 30 times more energy released. It takes 30 magnitude 3s to equal the energy released in a magnitude 4, 900 magnitude 3s to equal a magnitude 5 and 729 billion magnitude 3s to equal a single magnitude 9. So while a small quake may temporarily ease stress on a fault line, it does not prevent a large temblor." I'm not saying he's right, but you aren't either.
@Paramedicpr835 Nobody can predict earthquakes but I rather b prepared cause , it doesn't matter when is going to happen... but its going to happen some day anyways
1. I live in PR and its true, there has been more quake activity than usual
2. News in PR has said you have no scientific criteria to comment on this (but you stated more facts than the RSPR/USGS) lol.
3. I did hear the cat in your video
4. Even though I agree it is fun to make fun about videos on youtube, I do take well the advise to take precautions just in case. People down heare are spreading this link.
*easy with the predictions.. Just saying soon will do.
I went to the USGS website. Most of the earthquakes shown there are ~2.8-3.5 in magnitude. At various depths from 50-120km. For reference: 100km = 328,084 ft. Plates are around 100km thick (wikipedia: tectonic plates). So there is a possibility that the plate is moving but little quakes indicate movement. I think thats better than stress buildup and no movement at all. Just some facts to go with a prediction, always an important thing to include.
question: how do you got to this conclusion? I mean, apparently for scientist the high activity of low quake in this area its a normal phenomena... and i understand that the last tsunami for PR was around 1918 and before that 1867 close to the Virgin Islands...
so the question remains... what kind of preparation or education background you have? why we should believe your words?
i hope you understand my concern, those are very serious allegations!

I got a link from elnuevodia (a newspaper from Puerto Rico) about this video saying is not true. I cant put it here but u can go to the site and look for it.
the 14 of July it appears to have been a seismic cluster in the PR Trench area. This has not been the first but this is the 2nd seismic cluster 20+ tremors in a 12 hr period that has hit the PR trench in the past 3 months. Seismic activity is normal in this zone but the frequency has picked up. It would be interesting to see a chart of seismic activity before making such claims. Might as well claim the big one will hit California in the next month too.
Well, if this quake happens.. you're gonna be so popular on YouTube. Also, if it really happens.. Feel free to warn the rest of the world like you just did. :)
Anyone near there checking the liquifaction in Puerto Rico? If this shit hit's the fan the BP oilspill will be remebered as a joke. Ayone knows about any nuclear reactors on the eastcost? Not used of having tsunami's over there..
Dude, the highest point in the island, in Jayuya, is 3,000 ft. high, not as mentioned on vid. Second, the PR plate respond to North American plate, not to the Pacific plate.
Pero de que siguen los terremotos siguen al menos dos por semana algo hay de cierto

It is time to either remove this video or remove the "Prepare now" warnings.
The original clip was labelled as a 7 day warning and since that time frame has expired, it is now edited to show a few weeks to a month.
This shows a lack of integrity, not to mention incorrect info.
The "few weeks" deadline has passed and there remains only 6 days to reach the "a month at the most" warning.
What will it be edited to next... "In the next few months"? Then when that passes, will it read, "this year"?

@SmileAndGrinn You complain about people "hating on this guy's video" and go on to comport yourself in a worse fashion by telling them to F off. You complain about people's ignorance, yet you misspell the word with an e instead of an a. I suggest that you clean your own house before complaining about how other folks behave.

@Orbzon Agreed. I remember it being a warning for the next 7 days, as of the 17th of July.
Now that the time frame has passed, the description has been changed to a "next few weeks to a month" warning.

CorLeonis15 7 months ago
Dutchsinse, I can't thank you enough for this information. I really hope what you're predicting doesn't come true, but I can't shake the feeling that you're right. If what you say does happen, and it's an earthquake near Puerto Rico, then the entire state of Rhode Island (my home state) would easily be completely submerged. One important piece of RI geography is Narragansett Bay; a Tsunami coming from PR would shoot right up the Bay, a direct hit on Providence. I'm not sure what to do.

S13v7n 7 months ago

TheVee909 7 months ago
you have no idea what you're talking about, dude. seriously, if you knew anything about geology, you would know that a lot of smaller earthquakes are a good thing. it means that the fault is letting out stress in small bursts and that there isnt an excess of it building up. without that stress, big earthquakes dont happen. where one would really worry is in an area of little to no seismic activity, because that area is not relieving stress efficiently. and BTW, the plates are always moving. DUH

WaterBender1337 7 months ago
@balletghostfreak95 you are right, he doesnt know what he is talkin about. Look at how he supported his argument. By saying some mystery guy said the same thing a day before the Japan quake. LMAO... great scientific evidence..
taporsnap1326 7 months ago
@balletghostfreak95 "Each magnitude level represents about 30 times more energy released. It takes 30 magnitude 3s to equal the energy released in a magnitude 4, 900 magnitude 3s to equal a magnitude 5 and 729 billion magnitude 3s to equal a single magnitude 9. So while a small quake may temporarily ease stress on a fault line, it does not prevent a large temblor." I'm not saying he's right, but you aren't either.

Hello Dutchsince - a few comments
Stilleno 7 months ago 2
I went to the USGS website. Most of the earthquakes shown there are ~2.8-3.5 in magnitude. At various depths from 50-120km. For reference: 100km = 328,084 ft. Plates are around 100km thick (wikipedia: tectonic plates). So there is a possibility that the plate is moving but little quakes indicate movement. I think thats better than stress buildup and no movement at all. Just some facts to go with a prediction, always an important thing to include.

question: how do you got to this conclusion? I mean, apparently for scientist the high activity of low quake in this area its a normal phenomena... and i understand that the last tsunami for PR was around 1918 and before that 1867 close to the Virgin Islands...
so the question remains... what kind of preparation or education background you have? why we should believe your words?
i hope you understand my concern, those are very serious allegations!

the 14 of July it appears to have been a seismic cluster in the PR Trench area.
