I had what is called an arterial venous malformation which basically means blood vessels around my spine burst and and then bled into my spine leaving me instantly paralyzed.
your walking is incredible, but I notice when you take a step your toe seems to drag, possibly due to drop foot? Why do you not wear an AFO? Is that by choice?
thank you for your comment! You are definitely right by noticing how my left foot drags. It is exaggerated in this video due to the added weight on my ankle to help me strengthen the pull through movement. I do have AFOs but my walking becomes much less fluid when wearing them even though they do help me with the heel to toe action of my feet and ankles. So, it is mostly by choice and my ankles have improved significantly in the past two months. thanks again for the comment
Great! Back at school. Using a walker and hiking poles to get around. I can take very short distance walks with out any device but usually prefer to have a spotter when doing so and I am rarely in my chair any more. I have a much more functional pace now with a walker and can go up/down steps so I have definitely improved since this.
i am also spinal cord ......... plz tell me who u walk ......ur sence come after the injery
