love this band. heard a clip of their guitarist on an ibanez video once and was instantly hooked by his playing. looked em up and turns out they're from Florida, just like me. This album is pretty damn good. At first I was overjoyed, then sad to the fact that it wasn't as good compare to the two previous albums, but as time went on, I grew on to it's style on the third album. I love it! People should listen to the album over and over again - it will stay in your head.

Right now I'm currently listening to Deepest Wound, The Bridge, and Vengence and Victory.

My only complaint is that the solos seem too short! I WANT MOAR!!!! :D

@SatanSquarepants Early Arch Enemy is amazing (1990's) with Johan Liiva on vocals, those albums are killers with him on as they had such a powerfull sound back then, those albums influenced plenty of bands and im sure The Absence is one of them, but yeah Arch enemy is nothing like the band they were 10-14 years ago The Absence is much better than most bands ive heard in a very long time.
