  • Hi there Jazzbobob!

Thanx for showing mr Sarpila playing tenor! Only heard him on the clarinett before!

  • Hi jazzbobob !

I've only seen and heard Antti on his clarinett before! Thank to u!

  • Benny Goodman's 1939 version blows this tepid version out of the water.

  • the first Tenor player sounded wondrfully Webster-ish. The second Tenor soloist was very Lester-ish. Both cats are formidable by any standard. Nice video.....

  • all synchroned in the start,

    fantastic

  • Just answered my own question! I see that it was Henry on the bottom of your "more info " notes. Also Lino Patruno on guitar

  • Wow! What a swinging group - great work by the reed men, especially on their chase choruses. Solid rhythm section and a great climax with the switch to high clarinet on the last chorus. Was that Henry Chaix on piano Bob? Whoever! It was great playing!!
