I like it whoever post this video did one hell of an "OUTSTANDING or AWESOME or BOTH" job keep up the good work. Now what was the name of that song? I like it also.
My concentration in grad school was medieval lit--so I'm enthralled by most any piece relevant to this time. Of course, this story is soooo romantic and fascinating; it could be set in any time or place and not lose anything! I've got to see the video or read the book--soon!!
This is soooo bringing back childhood memories:) I also have the book ( books, there where like 6-7, can't remember). However, can't forget the story. The same unforgetable feelings as from "Angelique" ( Ann & Serge Gallon). Beautiful! Tahnks.
Oh, gosh- I remember that book! It's one of the few I read in my teens that I've been unable to forget- it wove a spell around the heart and mind of true love conquering all - the characters you chose for you presentation were perfect!! Very nice work- and great song too! :)
Nice video...music selection was excellent. For anyone interested the music is the Gael written Dougie MacLean and was also used as the movie soundtrack for the Last of the Mohicans.
The vid maker has very cleverly included pics from Lord of the Rings and various movie roles starring Kate Winslet as well as Sophie Marceau from Braveheart(I think?) It is a brilliant vid, well made and I love the music! Cheers
Can anybody tell me what s the name of the book..plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I read that book when I was 15, my mother read it when she was 15, it started a love of these people and their story. You did an awesome job, the actors were perfect. TWO THUMBS UP!!!!
Katherine by Anya Seton. Written in the early 50's and the most romantic true love story ever written. If you start reading it you won't be able to put it down, guaranteed.
because if so, i really don't think kate winslet's right for the part. she's beautiful, but too curvaceous - katherines meant to be skinny and fairly flat-chested. It would brilliant to direct this movie though - and cast it. but i wouldnt want to cut so much out of it so it could fit into a couple of hours. hhmmmm...
yaaay! i love this book! you should definetly get this book! i bought it recently and i'm in the middle of it at the moment. can anyone suggest any great historical/really good books maybe like this one?
and oh,surprise!!!! VIGGO MORTENSEN:D oh why this movie doesn't exist??!!!!! well, thanks for this great vid!!i'm gonna check the book now, i have to read it! i hope it won't be too difficult for a little french like me!
I bought this book thanks to this video... I'm enjoying every word of this beautiful novel... and the people you chose to represent the characters fit perfectly. Only I imagine myself as Katherine and Tuomas Holopainen as John of Gaunt, lol

Ohh...so good! I read this book about two years ago and loved it. I can actually see Kate and Viggo as Katrine and Johh! :) This was very well put together, I'm glad you made a video for them! :) Oh, is the music from the Last of the Mohicans...?
I read The Book this Year i am 14 and i loved it i know taht i am young or seem it because of my age but it was one of the nest novels i have ever read
You are in good company! I read 'Katherine' the first time when I was about 12 and I have loved history ever since. One could say that it was one of the "foundations" for what I am now, a teacher in historical dancing. And even if I have read thousands of books, it is still one of my favourites.

That was a MAGNIFICENT love story. Though back in those days mistress kind of had a different meaning. At least that's what my mother told me.
