Great tip!! Another good idea in which i use a brooch is i recently got a plain white bandeau bikini and have been buyin colorful brooches to add to the middle of the bikini top pairing it with color bottoms that match the brooches color. I find it gives the baithing suit a cute style! :)

They used to have dress clips for that. Idk if they still make them but my best friend's little old grandmother had a ton of vintage ones from the 20's and 30's because she was a fashion merchandiser her whole life. It was just elastic with 2 clips on both sides and knitted/crochet/fabric flowers/pearls/lace/whatever on top to dress it up.Worked really well too.
