To what "violation" do you refer. First, shortly after 9/11, the Congress passed the War Powers Act, basically giving the president any authority he needed to wage war against terror. Based on the international intelligence available at the time, that alone was enough to go into Iraq. However, the president allowed and even invited debate on the issue and got another vote, specifically on Iraq. You're revising history again.

To what "violation" do you refer. First, shortly after 9/11, the Congress passed the War Powers Act, basically giving the president any authority he needed to wage war against terror. Based on the international intelligence available at the time, that alone was enough to go into Iraq. However, the president allowed and even invited debate on the issue and got another vote, specifically on Iraq. You're revising history again.
