You'd think they'd actually put the pairing up correctly. I thought Ally would be with Bender. Then Claire with Andrew. They needed another nerdy person to pair up with Brian.. Oh wells. That's just my opinion. :/ I still love the movie, though. :)

@Califacience Wrong! The point of the movie was explained in the essay Brian wrote. It's easier to categorize people with out really getting to know who they are. You pigeon hole them into the easiest category. "You see us as you want to see us" people are more complicated than that.

What I think a lot of people dont realize about Clare changing Allison at the end...when youre a teenager youre always tring on new roles; being influenced by your peers; you go through phases; Allison could have changed back to her black the next day or on to some other look; this is how real teenagers behave and John Hughes had the guts to show this; thank you John Hughes.
