  • Hey great playing man!

  • Also I hope you're Project is going well. You've got a little diamond there. You're mate wrote an awesome song ... but your recording is waaay better than his ^^ Now I don't ask for tabs cuz I know it's so much work and I don't want to rip you of but ... can you recommend a band/song who might have influenced you guys to write this? Cuz I want to develop a bit into this direction to and imitation is a good way to start ;) Keep on rockin' !

  • @MXopti Periphery, Sikth, Born of Osiris's latest album is really good, the upcoming Safety Fire...there's a lot. Circles is good too

  • Dude this is sooo awesome! It's very progressive and at the same time it's as dope as the deftones in their best moments. I'm glad it deos't sound like all that "djent" stuff, i like this better.

I found this because I was planning on upgradeing my (korean) RG 7321, working through forums and stuff. I'm going the petrucci way now. Basewood body + Liquifire/Crunchlab. It'll be better for me then x2n7 because i like to play "big chords". You helped me making the right decision. Thanks!

  • Hey man, thanks for the great video! It sounds awesome. I picked up this axe today and it sounds great, but I know I'm gonna swap the pickups soon. Was thinking Bareknuckle but you may have swayed my vote... thanks man!

  • Important question, does the 7321 hold tuning? 'Cause I doubt it..

  • @joshdavidstead I just got one today and it holds tuning really well actually. I'm still gonna upgrade to locking tuners like I always do, but I don't have a need to.

  • sounds like Periphery

  • What are your amp settings?

  • You're God.

  • This is nuts.

  • great riffs and sounding !

I'm considering to put one ofo these on my guitar, it has magohany body, buckeye burl top, ebony fretboard, mahogany/imbuia/mahogany neck, do you think it will have a good result ? i'm worried about the highs, if will have a good attack to thrash/death/progressive riffs with 7 strings

  • if you turn the bar to face the neck, the tone is a bit fatter.

  • FUCK YES! The pickup AND the guitar I plan on getting. Sounds sick!

  • TABBBBSSSSS

  • What are the chords at :44 seconds. I love that lifting feel it gives. Just rings out so well!

  • hey dude you play great, i have the same guitar and i have the same question that @TheOriginalPhatMan, i want to buy that pickups but. Do you need to cut the wood of the guitar?

  • Hey, important question. I have the same guitar and I'm looking to put in the crunch lab and liquifire. But do you have to cut any wood of the guitar. Because I know there like .2 inches bigger.

  • @TheOriginalPhatMan I didn't have to. It fit in fine for me.

  • @cheesyplay3000 REally man?? i just bought a pair of Liquifire and Crunch lab and doesn't fit the holes of the screw

  • @HektorInfante That's weird. I don't know man, all I know is I didn't have to do that...

  • HOLY PISS! That song is sick! Great tone and even better songwriting! So impressed!

  • THIS IS SOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Moar. Pleaseeee.

  • i like the carvin in the background

  • thats so sick dude. is there a full tune? im really intrested in hearing some more shit like this from you

  • @ghall0420 Hey thanks man, if you want to see the entire tune being played, check out my buddy Bali Harko, he's the one that wrote it. look for his name, then "woodshedding my own song". Thanks for your interest. You could also check out his soundcloud account, which has a bunch of his recordings.

  • Settings on the 6505?!..

  • @Havensgate11 Sorry I don't remember...though I never have anything past 2-3 o clock. I think everything is around the 12-3 oclock range, with the mids at 3, maybe the gain at 2.

  • sounds awesome man, I think you underrate your playing

  • wow this is great

  • Dude, this song is really fuckin' cool. Keep at it, man.

  • i could never manage to get Low action without fretbuzz on my ibby 7321 is your action really low did u need to get the guitar professionally setup??? i just got mine and i already am thinking about getting a refret because the guitar was so bad when i got it...

  • @HeartOfMetalx11 Hey man, my action isn't too low, I would say between low and medium. I've never had problems with fret buzz at this height, but the one problem I do have with the guitar is that the tension of the strings isn't tight enough. At super low action I do get major buzz, but like I said I do not normally have this guitar's action that low. It is a cheap guitar...so there are some good ones and bad ones sorry to say.

  • @HeartOfMetalx11

Is your neck straight and level? When I set up guitars if there is buzz in certain spots or strings it is often the neck bowing or being slightly twisted. If its not level it might need the truss rod adjusted. If you arent sure take it to someone and get it re-strung and set up.

I learned how to do it all myself and its pretty easy on a fixed bridge. Unless the fretwork is really bad it probably just needs proper set up.

  • Hey this is a serious question did you have any issues when you bought this guitar.?? because mine had horrible fretwork i just got it this year all of the frets were installed basically crumby like not perfectly set in the guitar they all play fine but it just looks really uneven if you look at the frets from the side of the neck they arent all perfectly straight up and down i have one issue on the 16th fret when i try to bed step and a half did your guitar have any issues with the fret work?

  • THAT SOUNDS INSANE.

  • Insane playing bro! I really like the tone. It's not exactly what I'm looking for myself, but it's amazing for what you are doing there!

  • Holy shit!!! :O NICE NICE NICE NICE!!!!

  • Woah. You're fucking good. And im digging this guitar, I want it as a first 7 string

  • tabtabstabstabstabstabstabstabstabstabstabs

  • awesome !

  • man this is sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lml!!!! hey man, for soloing on a 7321, which pups would you recomend? (only dimarzio or duncans)

  • @SHREDDER222X Thanks dude! Dimarzios and Duncans are both really great brands! My buddy has a Duncan 59' in his 7 string and it sounds really great for both soloing and riffing. Personally I'm a Dimarzio kind of guy. I think combination of a Crunchlab7/liquidfire is pretty popular nowadays for great neck and bridge lead tones (its what Petrucci is using).

  • @cheesyplay3000 thank you man!!

  • That sounds really good man. What gauge strings do you use? I have the same guitar with a set of .11's and a .60 on the low B and it just sounds loose and muddy as shit even when only dropped to A. It might have more to do with the shitty stock pickups though

  • @freakishlyhuge Hey man, I use a .70 for the low B. It tightens up the low tunings a lot...you can order .70s and higher from D'addario (which is what I'm using here).

  • SO sick!

  • No, seriously.

  • UUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHH......TABS PLEASE?

  • sounds awesome thanks for posting this videos it answers my question of which pick ups i'm getting now. for my 7321. anyhow..how do you like that carvin? i've been really wanting to order one, the 7 string model though. can't afford it atm

  • It's amazing. I love my Carvin. It plays amazing, and sounds really good, and you get alot for the money. I love supporting Carvin and what they stand for. Semi Custom builds, high quality, low price. I have a video of a review for my Carvin in my channel. Check it out if you're interested!

  • Great riffs. Very intricately written. The hooks and everything flow really well man, nice job. I would also love to hear this project. Is there a facebook for this? The Djent-lemens club page on facebook posted this haha.

  • @Ureyeuh Dude, thanks for checking it out. You can check out more of the ideas/music here soundcloud . com / baleemusic or here soundcloud . com / shreddingsheu. Thank you for the interest!

  • what tuning is this in

  • @CalebinthekeyofC It sounds like A standard.

  • @Deathz0r94 Dropped A - Dropped Ab, my bad.

  • Dude I would love to listen to you and your friends project. It sounds incredible!

  • @AntiSocialStalker Thanks! It is in the works and in its infant stages at the moment...I'll let you guys know when there is actual finished material!

  • You sir, are amazing!!! What's the name of this project you have with your buddy? Posted any stuff yet? I'd love to check it out!

  • @vdjn55 Not sure yet actually haha. We're just writing and having fun and hopefully will release some stuff soon.

  • @cheesyplay3000 Awesome... can't wait! I just randomly found your video and boy am I glad I did! Once again, splendid work!

  • The guitar is a mid range instrument which I think most people dont really understand. There isn't much past 6kHz with the guitar. It doesn't make sense to boost lows and highs with scooped mids, because in a mix the guitars won't stand out. Then when you boost the mids @ like 1-1.5khz and 2.5-3khz the guitars pop in a mix

  • its amazing how many people have been influenced by animals as leaders.

  • sounds awesome

    also, very trendy riffage

    drop A I guess

  • Your buddy Bali is an awesome guitar player \m/
