  • Love the look at 1:36.

  • 00:00 That's the girl that appears on the Rock Band Intro..

  • I've had the Shea Stadium videotape of this show for years now & for some reason, She's A Woman is not included on there. Wonder why it was edited out? Thanks for posting the soundtrack of the song here, even if the footage is from one of the other songs.

  • John is soooo handsome! Love the Beatles!

  • The Beatles Forever .

  • What's amazing is that they did this with no monitors to hear themselves.

  • @GuitarMirth haha thats a good one ;)

  • 10 people realized this is an edited video -_-

  • Beatlemania. This is it.

  • the best band of the history

  • Don't see what the big deal is. The power of hype, I suppose. Maybe that and drugs.

  • A Beatles song can make teenagers cry. What up now, Lady Gaga?

  • Every guy with bangs probably got lucky that night!

  • imagine beatlemania.. cool man..the greatest thing since sliced bread .

did the girls love paul or john..maybe they just loved the whole combination of those guys..the band..cameraderie..the gracefulness that was the sixties..the birth of a new era ..bursting out of its seams.

  • imagine beatlemania.. cool man..the greatest thing since sliced bread .

  • Dig the bass !!!!!! thanks !!!!

  • lol they had 2 get a person 2 give out tissues 1:02

  • But at least I get to listen to their music all day! :D

  • WHY did I have to be born in this era. WHY couldn't I see the Beatles live?!?! :( Life is sad.

  • Rock's Greatest band. No other band gets a reaction quite like this !!

  • I met George and Paul! In Tucson..

  • love it excelent.....!!! i want a time machine to 60s

  • Even though it's fake, it does show what it was like there. It especially shows that all teens were overpowered by their hormones on that day.

  • @117glenn I don't think it's fake, I rather think the audience screaming is surpressed, but the bass sound is really high.

  • @TeamMastaPr2 The band said they couldn't hear anything but screaming so they couldn't really tell how they were playing. This was remastered so you could actually hear the Beatles as opposed to what sounded like the high-pitched scream of a jet trying to take off for an extended amount of time. Those thousands and thousands of girls could really let it rip!

  • im ashamed but looking back at the beatles im proud rto be a mets fan

  • your video sux..the real ones show them more singing

  • @jacksetterlund theres no known vids of shes a woman at shea, same for when george did everybodys trying to be my baby

  • Dear Lord,

All I ask is that my future husband look, play, smile, and have the same sense of humor as one of the Beatles.

I swear, if you find him for me I'll promise to love him like no other.

    Love, Beatlemaniac

  • @Arey1992 which one do you preffer? JOhn?Paul?george?RingO?

  • @Wakeupdream Johnny Boy <3 But there's times where I prefer Paul or George or Ringo. Depends what mood I'm in but I'm almost indefinitely always in the mood for John! <3 :)

  • @Arey1992 We r out here.

  • An almost 24-year-old Linda Eastman was at this concert! (on Mar. 12, 1969 she became Mrs.Paul McCartney)

  • It's funny how Eppy just stands there like, "Okay, yeah, seen this a million times, let's move on now.."

  • 1.25 "for safety reasons please stay in your seats". whoever wrote that was totally unfamiliar with what was about to come...

  • Lol at 2:15 a banner says "John would say, give us a kiss!" A Hard Day's Night, haha cracks me up all the time, man.

  • Hot JAP at intro

  • This "She's A Woman" was not filmed in the original video now was it? I have the video but that song is not on there.

  • @nserio35 I think that part of the shea65 concert was deleted, I'd like to know if anyone has the complete concert with the Beatles performing She's a Woman or any footage of the Beatles aug.23,1966 concert at Shea?

  • this is so fucking fake he overdubbed the music from live at the bbc

  • This vid is fake he isn't actually singing. Smart though how u made it

  • My generation fucking blows ass.

  • The best part of this video is the audience reaction ... it says speaks volumes !!

It's so hard to explain to people what it was like back then ... but it was nothing short of magic !! ... I wish you all could have been there ! .... Enjoy !!

  • It's a pitty, but probably some of that teens have sons/daughters listening to Lady Gaga, Justin Biber and other rubbish.

  • The Beatles were prophets, and now we can perceive the hidden meanings in their songs. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then on the homepage of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. Every Beatles fan should check this out.

  • My Mother has all these great stories about girls wetting themselves, pulling out eyebrows & eyelashes, ripping clothes, shaking, spazzing, crying, *lol*

  • The outro, from about 2:12, sound like My Generation...

And I love the sign "FOR SAFETY SAKE PLEASE STAYIN YOUR SEATS"

    Beatles forever!

  • they use this same footage of the fans, for different songs-its too weird

  • Comment removed

  • Gosh, I wish I could make girls react like this!

  • @GuitarMirth no 1 cod be the beatles

  • @GuitarMirth Don't Worry it Happens to me all the Time

  • The title is dedicated to Justina Bieber

  • Girl at 0:43 : I swear I fuc*ing love them...

  • @beatlesongs

    what about her ?

    shes my wife

  • OMG! Paul is soooooooooo cute!

  • you 17 and 18 year olds think it sux to not be born in the 40's to be a teen in the beatles time era? well im freakin 13. i was born in 1997. it suxxxxxx bc that is almost 2000. i hate how all my frends, listening to MNM and that, go, "hey the beatles are so uncool, arent they like 70 now?" i go, well first of all the beatles are way better than what you call music, and second, they werent 70 when they were the beatles. they are totally GEAR, the beatles, they.

  • this recording is better than the televised one. You could hardly hear the music - I was nine at the time it was so awesome then & now.

cool - the band before them also - one song I remember - Black is Black I want my baby back????

  • Ooh!!!!! beforeeeeeeeeeee because I was born in 1966 ha' ha ha'

  • Hello great vid old black cop at end look like he was sweating

  • Lol, woman giving out hankerchiefs

  • What a glorious quality of tape. Crystal clare and fine colors and the artistry and powerful voice of Sir Paul! Thank you very much everybody!

  • It does not matter folks but the real Paul is dead, since 66 like it or not. The day is coming when it shall be revealed. Just remember who told ya when ya really find out the actual truth.

    Good luck..

  • @Daveyo747

You do know they just made up the 'clues' to go with the songs, right? John, although cruel at times, was very serious about death, and would not have let the Beatles continue if his (at that time) best friend had died. Plus, it would never have stayed a secret this long.

  • I was really lucky to have attended the Beatles concert at Shea Stadium 8/15/65. It was an incredible experience. Also got to see them the next year on the same date 8/15/66 at DC Stadium. There will never be another group like the Beatles and their music is timeless!

  • I'd be like that guy at 2.40 if i saw these live.

  • this is the first 45 i ever bought. :) granted i bought it last year. i'll remember listening to this in my grandpa's den forever. it's like i was back there in the 60's (like i'm meant to be! lol)

  • it was like the first stadium rock show..no one knew what to expect..sound wise and crowd wise...lookin back on it....its special in its own way..

  • I was blessed to see The Beatles 9 times in person!!! Shea was one of them. Living in Philadelphia at the time gave me an opportunity (geographically) to get into some very cool concerts! To some it may be a drag to be 62 years old, but for me, to be a teenager in the 60s and experience all of this LIVE... it was SOOOOOOO worth it. ... It till is. !!! :)

    :) :) :) :)

  • @JudeWest4868 Luckyy I wish I was you, I wish i wasn't 10 years old... :-(

  • @JudeWest4868 Hey, age doesn't matter, it's how you feel that counts, and to see The Beatles 9 times in person must have been an awesome feeling lol I WISH that I could time travel back to August, 1965 to see them rock! God Bless

  • @JudeWest4868 I'm 21. I'd give you my youth in return for your memories!

  • great clips, but it's pretty obvious that this song was just dubbed over random clips from shea stadium.

  • Great Quality

  • How come I love Ringo so fucking much?!

  • @MissMileysFan1 Me TOOOOO!!!!! ringo is amazing! i love him bunches! but i love them all RIP John Lennon and George Harrison :( god took you too soon

  • I was born in the wrong era

  • to Paul,

I will never make you jealous,

I will cry when you cry

I will love you for forever and ever

  • LEGEND...wait for it DARY

  • Lol, I like the sign from 1:30 about John's "give us a kiss" phrase from a Hard Days Night

  • lo hisiste tu

  • i went to the dodger statium concert on aug 28, 1966, it was the new to last concert and it was great.......

  • I need a De Lorean too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!!!

  • "for safety sake, please stay in your seats" lol 1:23

  • video is of twist and shout

  • I saw that girl at the start on Beatles Rockband lol

  • record

  • When you watch these videos of Shea Stadium the footage of the crowd shows the same girls getting chased by the cops, revived by the cops, or being carried off by the cops.

  • They were all flyin' on preludin even Brian Epstein and most of that material was written under the influence of preludin too. Good thing Nixon started his War On Drugs and stopped all that FUN.

TODAY - NO FUN JUST STRESS!!!!!

    Thanks to Nixon the PRICK!!!

  • The policemen sweated this night

  • What a single

  • Beatles je taime <3

  • nunca vi banda igual beatles até hoje, acho que nem terá

  • I kinda feel sorry for the guy with the glass on 0:57. Those three young girls just crying their hearts out and he's trying to calm them down....heheh! Probably his daughters.

  • If I could go back in time, first stop Shea Stadium August 15th 1965. :)

  • LOL doesn't Brian Epstein look happy in a sea of screaming girls? 1:44 LOL this looks like Sam Houston Coliseum i have a bootleg vinyl with pictures front and back look like this

  • LMAO - the guy at 1:16-1:20 hahahaaa

  • The Beatles should be a main history topic for schools! :D

  • @townshendrocks Fuck that, The Beatles should be a separate core subject!

  • @townshendrocks actually not a bad suggestion- many citizens of the Soviet Union say it was the Beatles that kindled their desire to be closer to the West, and these feelings and desires for Western Culture and things(Think Levis) were what led to the ultimate downfall of the repressive communist government of the era. Despite what those who rewite history say about St. Ronnie. The Beatles refelected some of the great feelings of the era.

  • @townshendrocks I'm sure they will be. they were monumental. if they have a college course on Star Trek, they will for the FabFour !

  • @townshendrocks they are!!! there's a picture of "the boys" of them and they're mentioned in my US History 1 book lolz...

  • @townshendrocks i wish...

  • @townshendrocks they are!

  • @townshendrocks

i think there is a beatle topic called Beatleoligy at some music schools. (From what ive heard.)

  • @townshendrocks

Liverpool Hope University has created a Masters of Arts degree entitled The Beatles, Popular Music and Society which sees students read the history of the band over four 12-week modules.

  • 0:52 yumm (:

  • SUCH FINE DETAIL FROM COMPARED TO JUST A YEAR BEFORE

  • funny thing is they didnt do this song at shea lol

  • @TheCelticsrock34 Yes they did but not much of the audio or footage exists possibly because they changed reels.

  • I'd give everything i have(which isn't much) to see the beatles live in concert just one time. I wish i wasn't born in this shitty generation, being that im 17, i wish i was more like 65, then i could've grown up in the greatest time for music. as seen in this video. This generation FUCKING BLOWS, next time u see a 60 something year old man, don't think, hey that guys old, think, dude that guys probably awesome. he got to grow up with THE FUCKING BEATLES man. BEATLES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

  • @strokesday

I grew up with the Beatles, stones, and the whole 60's thing but it just didn't occur to us the huge musical era we were in. The one thing I do remember though is when the Beatles were playing on top of Abbey Studios and brought the city to a standstill. And I was supposed to go to Woodstock and was ill and missed it.

  • @jon4paris Yeah, i could imagine that. its like that saying u don't know what u got til its gone. and that sucks that u missed it. i would've been pissed. haha. thank u for replying by the way.

  • @jon4paris The Beatles never played on top of Abbey Road Studios. It was Apple's Headquarters.

  • @strokesday Although that sounds great, you forgot to think that you'd be old now. Like 60-70 years old. THAT would blow. Besides, there's plenty of good music today and there's plenty of Beatles cd's to listen to.

  • @bilbomarks how would that blow? whats wrong with being 60 or 70 years old. everyone knows older people are the best, its the young people like us that suck. and there is no good music today, thats bullshit. and there is, but hearing a band live is way way better than listening to their cd.

  • @strokesday The whole "there's no good music today" is a lazy opinion to have. FYI you're probably too young to know this, but there has ALWAYS been shitty music. Even in the 60's, there's plenty of shitty bands the beatles would've scoffed at. Point is, good music nowadays is NOT on Mtv and NOT on the radio (except some college stations) I'm sorry you're 17 and all that shit is being crammed down your throat, but that's how it always has been.

  • @bilbomarks i get where ur coming from, even though u are being kind've rude about it. but i have listened to a lot of stuff that isn't popular. and in the last 10 years i have found about 5 bands that i like. and none of them are popular for one thing, and two they aren't as good as bad bands were. which leads to my next point. good bands today aren't half as good as crappy bands in the 60s and 70s. i know there was bad music then. im not an idiot, though u act like i am.

  • @strokesday I think you may be a bit in the black about some of the crappy bands from back then. People only remember the good bands and that is for the better. I doubt you'd be able to name a crappy band from the 60s 70s. That's not to say that I can either. I'm just saying bands today can be just as good and even better than what was around then. It all depends on taste. If you're looking for Beatles part 2, you're going to be disappointed and that is what I think you're looking for.

  • @bilbomarks I can name u bad bands from back then Yes, The Moody Blues, Electric Light Orchestra. want me to keep going? i know a shit ton about music from that time, the good, the bad. the fact remains that good music today isn't half of bad music back then. if u don't agree fine, but stop acting like i don't know what im talking about, because i do. I know there will never be another beatles, thats obvious. but modern musicians don't even try to be even a little unique. its all the same shit.

  • @strokesday Dude, chill. I said bad bands. Nobody can remember the bad bands. You named a couple of good bands for some reason. In any case, if I think you DON'T know something, it's good bands today. You're obviously in the dark about those.

  • @bilbomarks Those bands aren't good in my opinion. maybe they are in urs. but whatever, that is irrelevant. and its all about opinion. u think there are good bands still today. which i find is bullshit. but u think there are, so don't say im in the dark about them, they just don't exist in my opinion. im not being lazy or waiting for another beatles or whatever the fuck u think im doing. i love 50s 60s and 70s music. and to me since 79' music sucks. thats my opinion. not urs. and thats it.

  • @strokesday Holy shit. Wow. I'm just gonna walk away now. I will just say that what you are experiencing is not sucky music, but more music you don't like and a keen dislike for creative evolution. Dude, you dropped my jaw wide open.

  • @strokesday Sure it would be nice to see them in concert but the audiences were fucking awful! If you were in this audience you would only hear pubescent and other borderline age of consent girls screaming. See those amplifiers on stage? They are not meant for that kind of venue. They are probably set to 11 and the sound wont carry well.

  • @strokesday Right on Brother....Right on.......

  • @strokesday I'm a few years older than you (okay, SEVERAL years older LOL) and I have a friend (who is a few years older than me) who was actually there, THAT hot August night. She couldn't hear anything but screaming, and she was glad she had her binoculars. And get this... she got to see them a year later in Cincinatti at Crosley Field. She made a couple birthday cards for me with pics & the ticket stubs from these shows. Lucky girl.

  • @strokesday too fucking right

  • @rockstar199ification thank you for agreeing.

  • @strokesday I couldnt agree more, there r no words to describe how much u r possibly so right.

  • @Beatlelover7 I thank you very much for the gracious comment. i'm glad we share similar ideas.

  • @strokesday

dudee thats what i always think about !

Everytime i see an elderly person i just always smile inside

  • @SHEMEANzEVRyTHANG2ME elderly people are the best, people don't know what they have been through. world war 2, the depression, the jazz 40s, the rock and roll 50s. they have done everything, seen everything. they are the greatest people in the world, and people who don't see that are blind.

  • @strokesday

    Dude thats -

Man yeah i wish i was an elderly man lol

  • @strokesday

Oh, you're so right. The Beatles rule!

  • @strokesday Hi, I just LOVE your comments. I'm 61 years old and I was at this concert. So many girls fainted and had to be carried outta there, it wasn't funny. The Beatles could have just stood there for an hour and did absolutely nothing and still cause mass hysteria. This was the very first stadium concert ever. These guys did change the world. You are right, most music today is just awful, with rap and hip hop being the worst. For us, these guys were just awesome..BEATLES FOREVER !!!!

  • @edcoll61 I really appreciate it. +104!!!! Thats really awesome that you were there. My grandmother went as well and said something very similar to that, the fact that the beatles were so great in the audiences eyes at this concert that just being there stunned them, not even playing. Thats the definition of Beatlemania, and i've been under Beatlemania since i was a young kid. BEATLES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • @strokesday Hi again, hope everythings ok with you. Your Grandmother sounds like a pretty hip lady, you should ask her about all the English bands that came right after the Beatles showed up here. Some pretty good groups came out of that...Rolling Stones, DC5, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Moody Blues ( early ) Kinks...just to name a few. The Shea concert was the only time I saw the Beatles together. Some years later I was at the Bangladesh concert which was awesome. OK, take care.

  • @edcoll61 You too, my best wishes to you, with peace and love. -Z.W.

  • @strokesday be cool man, it's like wrestling; keep listening for songs that move your spirit. there will be more to come...the crap that's depressing you can't last...

  • @hankbat5149 oh, are you talking about my channel? well......i hope your right.

  • I heard that in Astral dreaming, there are no limits to time and space. You can go anywhere at any place in time. If I could, then first stop: Aug. 15, 1965 in Shea Stadium.

    Beatles 4EVA!

  • I was so born too late... I only listen to music from the 60's and acording to everyone I know that makes me wierd...

  • 1:45 just an average day for him

  • Amen, Nightrain. She should be wrapped around a pole.

  • @newerafrican Haha, yeah, a pole works, I guess, or me, she could be wrapped around me. =P

If this video wasn't so old, of course. =/

  • I saw Ringo live a couple days ago. He has alot of talent

  • Yeah mtsn, the girl's daughter is probably smokin' now. I'm sorry, is that creepy?

  • It's funny at the end when the Police officer wipes the sweat from his face...He's probably like, "Hurray up so I can go home and sleep." LOL

  • Is it just me or were the people back then better looking? Check out mommy at 1:21

  • @newerafrican I noticed that too - I'd so hit that one in a blue dress. 45 years ago, that is.

  • @mtsn Come on boys, the girl at the beginning is so much better, she's so good looking you see her again at 1:08, and you can tell that she likes to scream ;)

  • @NightrainNo9 I'd pick any of these. If I wasn't born in 1964. Now that's creepy.

  • @mtsn Dude, you were born in '64?! That means you grew up to...Wings and Zeppelin and all those bands! Lucky you! =D

  • I wish i could be a beatle :)

  • I wonder if there's a DVD of this show anywhere to purchase?

  • at 51 George's face is so adorable! they are all so adorable!

  • John looks so handsome...

    Miss u John :(

  • Comment removed

  • The Beatles have always been my favourite too, I wrote "she's just a girl" with paperback writer in mind and the fella who wrote "last train to clarkesville" for the monkeys wanted a mix of "day tripper" and "paperback writer" & came up with that song.

The Beatles will always be the No 1 most influential band in history.

  • Im 13 And i love the beatles. Because of them I decided to learn the guitar. I know pretty much all there songs :) i wish i was around when they were together :'(

  • Paul is sexxyy(:

  • im 11 and im a HUGE FAN and i wish i had a time machine to go back. :(

  • Me pleases that dark-haired American lass at the fence at 0:1-0:3 (and then again after 1:00). I wonder where's she now. If is, I hope, alive, maybe watches herself on YouTube (it's possible she shows the videos from that concert her grandchildren).

  • @krissie660 well lol if you play the beatles rockband and play shea stadium chapter when the beatles come out of the tunnel thing and then the camera goes to the crowd lol she is there rattleing the cage. i thourght that was pretty good putting things like that in the game

  • @248sqnrnewman Yeah, I agree, such pictures show what was the Beatlemania. It's funny to watch. However no wonder, one day, after 3 years I think, the group had enough quitting the concerts and experimenting on music more in the studio. But it'd be good to watch their concert versions of Eleanor Rigby, SGT. Pepper, Lucy..., A Day in the Life, Helter Skelter, Revolution, or Hey Jude...

  • I like the behaviour of these pretty little girls here, ha ha. Those were the days!

  • Geez man i need a" Delorean" & set the to the Beatles time.. record HD videos & HiFi audio & get back into the future!! ;)

  • @freemancarl totally!
