I'm a huge 1D fan so I'm glad he got put in the group, but I agree that he could have made it on his own. This performance is amazing. Apparently tho, the other 1D boys call him Gary, after Gary Barlow, because they're both the "leader" of their respective groups. I think it's a really apt comparison - Liam is the musical force behind 1D, just like Gary is in Take That. And Louis is 1D's Robbie - except he and Liam will always love each other!!! :)

tbf i was in my kitchen when he did his audition and honestly thought Michael Bublè was on the X Factor..... great at keeping his voice in key, but will be intresting to see if he can sing any other styles or bring somthing of his own to the table..... So far X Factor has not shown us many protentals but its early days I guess WELL DONE Liam
