The dopamine sac releases the chemicals which keep the kittens quiet during the move helping to reduce noise during transport. This sac is still present in adult cats which is what you are seeing in the video.

Mother cats carry their kittens by the nape with their teeth, so having this clip on a stronger adult, while it's just lying on the ground not showing any signs of pain, ofc isn't abuse. The cat's fine, else it would be trying to get the clip off or showing anger. If the owner had held this full grown cat up by just its neck, though, without supporting it elsewhere, could give it discomfort. Vets do this all the time. ^__^~

If the clip it too strong, then it can hurt. How to test: Put the binderclip on your pinky finger, on the second knuckle and leave it there. If it hurts, then it PROBABLY won't feel great for the cat to keep it on there for a long time. I use a clothespin and it works just fine for our one cat when we are brushing them in the spring.
Also, this will wear off after like 5mins... at least it does for our cat.

The back of a cat's neck (the 'scruff') is made to be grasped like this. Granted, it is not made to be grasped by a clip, but if you wait long enough to watch the whole damn video, then you will be able to hear that the kitten is PURRING at the end, AFTER having been 'clipped'. This is not cruelty or abuse of any sort. If anything, cats (or at least kittens) enjoy this because it reminds them of how their moms carried them.

Mother cats carry their kittens by the nape with their teeth, so having this clip on a stronger adult, while it's just lying on the ground not showing any signs of pain, ofc isn't abuse. The cat's fine, else it would be trying to get the clip off or showing anger. If the owner had held this full grown cat up by just its neck, though, without supporting it elsewhere, could give it discomfort. Vets do this all the time. ^__^~

If the clip it too strong, then it can hurt. How to test: Put the binderclip on your pinky finger, on the second knuckle and leave it there. If it hurts, then it PROBABLY won't feel great for the cat to keep it on there for a long time. I use a clothespin and it works just fine for our one cat when we are brushing them in the spring.
Also, this will wear off after like 5mins... at least it does for our cat.

The back of a cat's neck (the 'scruff') is made to be grasped like this. Granted, it is not made to be grasped by a clip, but if you wait long enough to watch the whole damn video, then you will be able to hear that the kitten is PURRING at the end, AFTER having been 'clipped'. This is not cruelty or abuse of any sort. If anything, cats (or at least kittens) enjoy this because it reminds them of how their moms carried them.
