  • Great Job! I hope mine turns out like yours :)

    The link was very helpful.

  • stupid video lol

  • Change the title to a more accurate description for a better rating.

  • that book cooler

  • You helped me soooooooo much thanks!

  • It looks really nice :)

  • Boring

  • @hyper972 Why do you put that box?

  • ou how ugly!

  • just another piss brain demo

  • A master at work!

  • what did i just watch?!)(>@~[

  • the titles named 'my results' but why falsely suggest a tutorial? -.-

  • @lovellae Because this video shows the results to the followed tutorial?

  • Yesssss now I can make a book for my school's Book Fest

  • Awesome job! That tutorial is the best I've seen, and your book looks like something somewone would buy! I do have a question, though. What did you use for the cover? I couldn't quiet figure out from the tutorial, but you obviously managed to figure it out.

  • omg ive got it, you helped so much-.-

  • WHAT THE FUCK!!!!

  • @TheNoen6 Actually, I originally created an instructable to show my progress. This video was only posted to show the results and how the book turned out.

    Search instructables for How-to-bind-your-own-Hardback-Book---My-Results!!

  • @TheNoen6 No, YOU'RE sick for making false accusations. Just because you can't make a book doesn't mean (s)he can't.

  • good job for a first time! A lot of binders forget to fasten down the first and last signature with a sheet of leather or card stock

  • @abc1010220 Thanks!

  • Woww .! U helped me soo muchh =)

  • @buttercupbby12 Cool! thanks for commenting

  • dude.. where is the "how to " part XD

  • @Kikachu did you bother reading the description!?

  • Awesome!! I'm going to make one.

  • WOW

  • it would be funny if that was just a journal purchased from borders. Cuz everyone would try so hard, LOL

  • fish. it's possible, i've done it.

  • Fish is possible. Huh. ...And you've done one you say? How odd.

  • Occassionally use fish to swear. and yes it can be done perfectly (as if it is bought in borders). You just need a bit of planning and practice.

I've done it before, and i'm using it!

  • @RabbitDance Actually, that would be mean.. ;-)

  • Gee. that was a lot of help...

  • @CH3RRY16 Perhaps you missed the link to the instructions, located in the (single sentence) description?

  • @CH3RRY16 Actually it was because they posted the link to the tutorial... which was a great help.

  • How the heck do I staple all the Pages together?

  • you dont. i think you sew them.

  • yes you take a few(5-10) sheets, to make one set there could be any number of sets, you use a premade temp. to make your holes for sewing. You can make it yourself. Then you use thread and Sew them a certian way. You do this to each set. There is more to it than that but that is the basic run down

  • That's really cool, I'm going to need this someday. But how do you add words to the text to the paper if you fold them in half and put them together? Because i actually need to make in book form, using microsoft word as my typer. Is there a way?

  • I wouldnt use word. Id find a different software to use. Depending on how many pages you want in your sigs (eg 32pp or 12pp etc) there are many different impositions you can use. I wouldnt reccomend using just 4pp sections if you are going to make a book, but it depends how many pages you want and the style of binding you want to do it. If you are going to use 4pp sections then I wouldnt reccomend sewing them together.

  • Definitely worthwhile to typeset in LaTeX

  • leave a margin/space in the middle, place it in landscape, make two colums. i had to make one once for school but i didnt put a hardcover because i'm a very lazy person and it was gonna end up in the trash can after i got it back anyway XD but the space in the middle, make sure its wide enough so the reader wont have to open the book so much to read the text. and use the big paper instead of the normal 8 1/2 x 11. i guess thats pretty obvious.

  • wow that looks very nice!

  • what is the point of this video?

  • To show you the finished project of a tutorial. A link is in the description box. I think it's a very coolsome project.

  • Nice job!

    Thanks for sharing this,

I will definitely check out that website.

    Well done.

  • wow,can you tell me what kind of paper is the one you used for the inside?(the blue one) I love that color!!

    Merci.

  • laces and fabrics ftw xD decorating it yourself is more fun and original than buying it. i dont know where you live but if you're in the US (or some place were this stores are) you might want to try Office Max or Michael's .

  • Did I miss something. I see the result, where is the "how to"

  • Could you please tell me the name of the instructional video? I want to learn how to bind a book too :) Your book looks really good, I hope I will make my book nice like yours :)

  • lol I just made one.

    Yep it works very well.

  • good job

  • That looks so great! I can't wait to try it!

  • What good is the result without the method. Very poor.

  • This is the results that the instructional video asked for...After they showed a step by step method ~ Dork!~

By the way Wasachwizard...excellent results! I have not finished mine yet! Good for you tho~

  • What's the point of getting personal and calling names. Why can't you just answer the question, DORK.

  • There was no question...just responding to CAEEYON01 who didn't have anything nice to say about the effort that this nice person put in to the video...I think this person did an excellent job...read everything before responding next time...

  • Actually, I had the same concerns as CARRYON01. What is the point of acting like a 12 year old and calling CARRYON01 names. By informing you could have helped others that might have had the same question or concern.

You get more done with honey than vinegar. Don't lower yourself to someone else's standards to prove a point.

  • Nurses can't help it.

Rudeness and assuming that others are stupid

    are just occupational deformities.

  • very nice!

  • inspiring

  • top stuff, your book looks really excellent. So glad you like the instructable and the other projects on dadcando.
