The range of the Q2 sucks. I leave my Evo in the truck, walk 20 feet to the back of the truck and get notified that the connection is lost. Tested in my driveway...... left my phone out in the open, walked maybe 25 feet away and lost connection. To make things worse, their Q1/Q2 Android App for reading email/IM/text messages isn't compatible with the Evo. The audio quality is very good but range needs to be improved.
Let me understand this: you are driving along. A call comes in in your cell phone. You pick up the cell phone and answer it with one hand. You say hello. Meanwhile with your other hand you pick up the headset and turn it on and put it in your ear. Then you put down the cell phone.
During the time when you have one hand on the cell phone and the other on the headset, how are you steering the car?
@khunjohn LOL! Okay, okay, good point. :) It's small enough that I can have it in my right hand, flip the power on and not lose any steering power or ability.
I only watched this video cos I love cali I think shes a hottie but really, unless your rock climbing in Peru and your wife falls into labor,i can't think why you'd need one of these, or perhaps if your a taxi driver, but for most people a good bluetooth car stereo would be a lot more useful, like a sony or a recent alpine stereo, it'll interupt what ever your listening to, and then you just hit the volume knob and the call comes through the speakers, easy as pie
@chrizbie What about when you have to get OUT of the car, mid-call, and carry groceries into the house? You have your hands full and can't deal with holding a phone up to your ear. Situations like that happen all the time! :)
@chrizbie I work from home some days I need to place several phone calls from my mobile so for me a bluetooth headset is great so I have me hands free to type on my laptop/write stuff.
Also when you are doing sports it is great to have your hands free and answer people.
Another thing: a fact is that most car built-in handsfree systems' quality suc*.
Also I do not necessarly want people in my car hear what I am saying to the person.
In less than 10secs I found 4 good reasons to have one!

I hate bluetooth headsets that do not let me choose the speakers. They just don't work for me.
