  • BRING BACK THE NBA ON NBC!!!!

  • mj? boring? you gotta be kidding me!!haha♥

great stuff..heartbreaking for me, for us before..but looking back..it just adds to the drama, the legend of mj that is!!♥

  • @ForEmily23

If I recall, Malone made a beautiful play against Rodman, putting Utah up by 4. Then, Toni Kukoc hit a three pointer almost from midcourt. Utah took the possession and the Bulls were disorganized, taking too long to foul, ending up fouling Hornacek with 0.6 seconds to go. Amazingly, Jeff ,issed one free throw. giving Chigago the opportunity to tie or win the game. In the inbound, Jordan tried a long three pointer but missed wildly what could have been his last shot.

  • I'm willing to bet that's Hans Zimmer music at the start.

  • fk 90's fashion is scary

  • Kukoc went off for 30 in this game

  • Through the first 4 games, this 98 Finals was actually considered to be a bit of a disappointment because the Bulls seemed to be dominating compared to the razor-close 1997 series, they won by 42 in Game 3, won 3 straight after losing Game 1 and it was all over talk radio and TV that this series wasnt even close to being as good as the 1997 series. Then came Games 5 and 6.....

  • 0:15 what song????

  • I was at this game when i was a kid my favorite player (besides MJ) was Toni Kukoc i brought a sign that said Kukoc rules brought it down b4 the game he saw it and gave me thumbs up and went on to have probably one of his best games ever. too damn pippen had a terrible day we should have won this game but still an amazing childhood memory

  • I would compare how Jordan and Rose are both humble, and how they always credit their teammates, not themselves when they are interviewed. Without a doubt, Rose is the best Bulls player since Jordan and Pippen, what makes it even more special is that he's a hometown guy, with the same determination as Jordan.

  • Jordan is the greatest ever, just listen to Bob Costas intro.

  • The ONE idiot who disliked this video is LeBron James.

  • @josesince82 or his boyfriend

  • WE SHOULD'VE WON THI F-NG GAME!! A HOME WINNER :(

  • man I remember this game. Antoine Carr had a fantastic all around game. and of course...Malone was unstoppable this game. Malone was the better man on this night. Jordan answered back with an explosive game 6 to take the series.

  • 6:02 horrible call

  • nba on nbc

  • Wonder what the camera man was thinking at 0:26.

  • Both MJ and Pip should thank Malone & co. for winning this game, b/c it was just not the way for their last game as Bulls to end. We would've been ripped of a 45-pt performance in Gm6 and possibly the most notable shot of Jordan's career. And Kukoc would brag about bringing the '98 championship to Chicago. He can now only brag of playing his best game in a losing effort.

  • I remember this game. I was only a kid, but I swear my heart nearly exploded when we won.

It's a shame Michael didn't get called for the shove in Game 6. Oh well, star players get special treatment.

Jazz played really well those couple of years. Some of the best games to have ever been played. So much heart.

  • @datalorez well, MJ did pull off that shove very well. So quick that without the replays we never would have noticed. The great ones have the tricks.

  • Bob Costas is Gold.....I hate to hear M.Jackson/ Van Gundy

  • Great stuff i found on the internet was mostly at NBAPremium(.)tk Kinda best NBA site i have ever found

  • lol...i remembered this. Carr was on fire for no reason.

  • The end Jordan heaved a 35 footer while on the move and it came up short. Crazy thing is had he given it a little more he might have banked it in. Or it might have rolled out like in the game 4 winner attempt from the other side of the court vs the Pacers.

  • Btw the play at 5:16 is a blatant travel right in front of the referee. He has a left pivot foot and is jab stepping with his right and then he plants his right foot brings his left foot also and shoots. Travel. Jordan wasn't the only one who got away with some travels :)

  • I've been saying that ever since I'd seen this videoclip!! Malone travels to Australia and the ref doesn't even spot it!! And if I recall correctly, this wasn't the only time Malone's done this!!

  • The Mail Man doesn't deliver on Sunday

  • :)))))))))))))))))))))))

  • The current generation has fell short to the expectations but the league still needs to put them into the same jar and say they are among the best ever. If not it is accepting the league is not attractive.

Think about a government resilience to accept a recession. They will not accept it because it does not help to overcome it. So the NBA will not accept this generation is not at the height of others.

Kobe, Lebron and the rest are good, but not great, at least not yet

  • I think that the NBA needs to create a new breed of great players to reinvent itself. Up to the 90's they have had luck of having them and when Dr. J's time was over the Bird-Magic rivalry appear. Then there were the Bad Boys and finally MJ and the Bulls. After this they got Shaq-Kobe and the Lakers and Duncan and the Spurs. Now they are relying on Lebron.

  • Because that 50 greatest player list is UNTOUCHABLE. No way that the new breed of players coming out are better than those before them, mid 80's and 90's basketball was like a thousand times more physical than what it is today... just take it back to the foul McHale committed on Rambis and see for urself, on todays game, that would cost you a whole regular season suspension and back then that was just a ticky-tac foul...

  • 1.25 ...whats with that shoes michael.."oh my god! " as charles barkley would have said just like he did with damon jones suit

  • MJ,no DOUBT GREAT PLAYER HE'S THE BEST, BUT NOW KOBE BRYANT, BUT WHY KOBE NOT BELONG TO THE 50'GREATEST PLAYER,

  • that was in 1997

  • kobe is the good player today,

  • sigh nevermind

  • Dude was already being billed as the greatest to ever play after his first 3 championships. The last 3 just sealed it.

  • i wish i could see the whole game

  • the Bulls should've won the championship at home instead of going back to Utah for Game 6. if the Bulls didn't win Game 6, the Jazz may have won Game 7 to take the title and Chicago would be the first team to blow a 3-1 series lead in the Finals; the Bulls almost blew their 3-1 lead that way in the 1993 Finals when they had to go back to Phoenix.

  • But there woudn't be "The shot"!

The best 40 seconds of basketball of all time happened on the end of game 6.

  • game 6 had it all. Drama, ref mistakes, rodman vs Malone. the last shot. classic game.

  • @ASAManifesto shut the fuck up and stick to the topic asshole. this is game 5.

  • @MrYoyoma33 I'm just saying if they had won game 5, the classic game 6 would not have happened.

  • @ASAManifesto then why the hell didn't you say that? am i a fucking mind reader? do you understand how misleading and nonsensical your post "as-is" is for this particular page? misdirection and lies, not cool

  • @MrYoyoma33 at the time the post was directly under another post and it made sense. everybody understood. it has since been bumped up. relax.

  • @ASAManifesto cut the bullshit you menstruating pig. telling me to relax. ur a FUCKING LIAR

  • @ASAManifesto YOU FUCKING LIED TO ME

  • @ASAManifesto if the jazz had kept their 3 point lead when they had the ball in the final seconds, the refs wouldnt even be an issue

  • @marcelobesch "The shot" that was was prefaced by "the shove", which Jordan shoves Russell and doesn't get called for the offensive foul. Watch the replays.

  • You what get an argument? During the intro.

  • "scarcely"

  • Show the real game 5 Jordan Jocker

  • Thank you for your kinds words. Your opinion means a lot.

Unfortunately, my DVD copy of this game cuts off before that important sequence at the end of the game. If I had that footage, I would have certainly added it.

I'm sorry the highlights that I do have do not satisfy.

but again, thank you for being a gentleman about this and expressing your displeasure in words obviously aimed not to offend

if you find any more of my videos are not to your liking, then fuck off and stop watching

  • @ForEmily23

HAhahahahahaaa....nice man, ''Thank you for your kind words...'' hahahahah

    :)))))

  • @ForEmily23 What was that idiot on about?...nothing wrong with this video as far as i can see but unfortunately we get ungrateful twits like that...anyway thanks for the upload, much appreciated from this lad.

  • @ForEmily23 LOL, shut the fuckup you cornbread nigger loving BITCH. I'll fuck EMILY with a baseball bat and make her scream my name while the blood purs out of her filthy ass. Fucking sleazy dirty tramp EMILY. Fuck you and your bullshit about "ohhh, sorry guyssss, the dvd cut off att the end, sorryyyyy, LOL" . fuck you asshole. how convenient. you and hoops somehow fail to show the world the conclusion of a game that MJ LOST. Nigger lovers.

  • Hahahahaha!

    lol lol lol!

  • i WONDER WHY HE DID NOT WEAR THE 14'S IN GAME 5???

  • Some people dont know that Jordan wore the Air Jordan 13 Playoffs in Game 5, and wore the 14's in Game 4. Imagine if the Bulls would of won Game 5, the 14's would of not been so special, cause true Jordan heads know what he did in the 14's. LAST SHOT. ANOTHER THING PEOPLE DONT KNOW is that he wore the 14 in Michael Jordan to the Max. The OG'S ON THE CARD.

  • poor russell....he had no chance against jordan.

  • ..and i also talk only about intro, not Your great work.

  • Bite your tongue...

There is nothing boring about that man

  • U know what mean Man is a LEGEND and all we can see is desame actions all over and over again, soon or later i just know what i will see on that clips.

  • Is there anyway you can find the ending to this game. From what I remember, it came down to the last second.

  • I'm glad somebody finally put Game 5 on here, because the cold open, aka the montage in the beginning is absolutely amazing. I just need to know the song that was used for it. Somebody has to know. And just think, if he makes that last shot at the buzzer while fading out of bounds, it changes everything.

  • Malone's only good game in the finals.

  • I remember this game - Kukoc had 30 points, Pippen was held to 2 of 16 shooting.

  • Good game, good series....would've been better with the ending, lol, but still good.

  • i would have like to see the lakers vs the bulls for that years finals. shaq and young kobe vs michael, scottie and the bulls. that would have been a lot more interesting.

  • How could lakers vs bulls be more interesting than jazz vs bulls ? The Jazz destoyed the lakers in the conference finals in order to advance to the NBA finals , so clearly the bulls and the jazz were the two best teams in the NBA that year .

  • see @ 2:28. his just humble, his mingling wz the map boy... humility there. that's why i love him.

  • I never noticed that... that is so cool

  • ...but this is also known as MJ's last game in Chi-Town as a bull.

  • i am a true fan of your video's...but there's no point of even showing this vid if you didn't have the last shot...that's like showing game 2 of the '91 finals without MJ's "spectacular move". It's okay though...i guess.

  • I believe any game Michael Jordan played in is worth showing, even if that means not being able to show a missed buzzer-beater

  • he is truly the greatest that will ever touch a basketball ever

  • Im glad you didnt show the ending...I almost cried when I saw it the first time...why did that damn Karl Malone pick the close out game to start dominating...it was heartbreaking and I got really scared that the Bulls would blow it...but...we all know what happened

  • thanks, man, if anyone has that last shot please upload it. its all i wanted to see really even though he missed it waas crazy

  • man i just love that intro; it's so beautiful!

  • that's my favorite part

  • I wish you would have shown the last shot Mike took to when the game, but I remember me just knowing that shot was gonna go in even though he was off balance I just knew it was over!!

  • yeah, I'm real sorry - not sure what happened with my DVD, but I didn't get the final moments of the game recorded.

    kinda sucks

  • its all good I just knew that shot was going in and i remembering rising out of my couch ready to celebrate

  • Would have loved to see more of Kukoc since this was one of his highest scoring games.

  • Great Game

  • That baseline fadaway @ 3:43 was a thing of beauty and he makes it look so smooth.

  • That turnaround jumper is so damn quick.

  • In 12 games in two series Malone had his best game against the Bulls... little too late, and look what he would do the next game, unaware Jordan steals the ball and wins the game.
