The way you word it, fia416, makes it sound like Beckham's the sole reason for those tickets being sold. Let's not forget that ticket sales had been consistently strong since they first went on sale in November. Becks just accelerated the process.
Season seats were sold out after Beckham was signed! When he signed with TFC they sold 8000 more seats. I purchased mine the first day season went on sale for members!

Including the team which signed him...at last check, we'd sold about 5,000 more season tickets than the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The season tickets were sold out before Beckham signed with LA Galaxy. So he had nothing to do with our season ticket sales.
