What a wonderful presentation! Your so right in showing its the restoration of our relationship with God which is most important! I recall a scripture which I find fitting...Col1:13 "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love" Isnt it wonderful that we can enjoy being in His Kingdom now thru the relationship restoring work of Christ even before it accomplishes the restoration of all other things!
You give up your freedoms for the security of the lies, and in return you get neither. Christianity is a farce, and this video appeals to emotion not reason.... surprise, surprise.
To say it this way Justification is primary and foremost so that we may have union with Christ (relationship) This is good to understand especially to calm the fears of those who have come to Christ out of the WTBTS that their assurance may be grounded in the historical work of Christ. You may run through redemptive history from Leviticus through Christ's death and resurrection through Romans 3:21-5:21. to ground their assurance on the legal aspect taken care of by God through Christ
I like what you had to say if you lived in America you would be interested in the heated discussions over Union with Christ between Westminster Seminary California vs. Westminster Theological Seminary. I side with WSCal in this point in our union with Christ that God takes care of the legal (Substitution, Propitiation, Imputation, Justification) so that we can have the relational with God. It's another way of saying Saved by God from the Wrath of God. continued...
