@cookiemonster3702 lol ya I know, it drove me nuts. I went to three shows on three nights in a row, and the general admission was stuffed with people driking and talking loud the whole time. I don't get why you would pay for a ticket and go to a show like this and not listen!?? Luckily I only had to be in the GA in Houston! I do have an MP3 recording of the show that sounds a lot better, most of the crowd noise is filtered out. If you send me a message I'll hook you up.
@bdgrinphx awesome! You're going to love the show! I went to all three in Texas back in April and even though it cost me more than $500 it was so worth it!!
God he's amazing again. Such a joy to hear him sound like this again. What a gift he has. Pure Genius. Love him so much, It took me from the age of 18-25 to learn how to do what he does. He's one of the best for sure. Freddie mercury, Robert Plant, Chris Cornell, and Jeff Buckley.
Purchased a ticket to his Brisbane gig yesterday and will be ecstatic if he sings like this! What camera do you use? I really need a camera for gigs :S
@FullMetalAngelREBORN This vid was made with a Flip Ultra Gen 2 camera from 2009. I have the newest one that is widescreen and HD but the audio isn't anywhere near as good as on the older one, so I went with it! I hope you have a great time at the show! Check out the video response for a series of vids from the houston show with download links for the audio!
@bodhi3323, kinda like what you see at 1:18.. he'd hit the wrong chord, then slide up real fast to the right one. I was 5 rows back, so could easily see him play.. he just made random mistakes like this throughout the show.. and during slow parts, he was very visibly shaking! was only his 2nd show..
@nembutals seems he made a few little guitar flubs throughout the night.. i think he was nervous! that was very well a very quickly fixed mess up.
@meanstreak: the GA seating was awesome. it's an acoustic show, so it was great to sit down and enjoy instead of normal where everyone is crammed up against each other. if you wanted reserve floor seats, you should of got them!
@metaltim The point I was making was that when I bought my tickets the seating maps showed the GA section directly in front of the stage (like at most concerts.) If they had made it clear that the floor reserved would be in the front then I would have bought them, and I did for the Dallas show. Check back for the videos from that show.
@bodhi3323 just check out all my videos from the three shows. Out of about 25 songs a night he probably made two or three little mistakes. The kind that would have been drowned out during a full band session. He always recoved fast though! It just proves Chris is still human.
Also you can download the entire Houston show on my other audio only vids you should check them out!
@PGROSYE02 I was absolutely shocked to see how incredible he has become again. I was at the NYC shows. He has this beautiful vibrato he has developed. He has a deeper sounding voice compared to his soundgarden days. His voice is just a gift from God to everyone else.
what an old soul

Best version of this song he's done since 1991. He's come a long way since the audioslave days.
